At a very young age Kang Eun Won experience of life was almost unbearable but for her it was possible because that was all she knew. Where other children her age would have played in the summer air she would have learned how to cook, clean and serve food for the future those skills would have been used.
The lives of people who would have lived in any part of China were ranked from High-class to middle class to low-middle class. Those in High-class could have everything they wanted with a flick of the wrist. Those in Middle-class could have everything they wanted but the line was not to be crossed. Those in low-middle class however was a totally other story in which they would live poor for the rest of their lives.
Kang Eun Won family was from the low-middle class in which they had to serve the rich.
