Kenji couldn't shake off the feeling that Ryuzaki's appearance had left him with. He felt like he was being pulled into a mysterious and deadly game, and he had no idea what the rules were.
As he walked home with Yasu and Kiriko, Kenji's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Ryuzaki and the BGC. He couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead, and what secrets Ryuzaki had hinted at.
When they arrived at Kenji's apartment, Yasu and Kiriko decided to stay over and study for the BGC together. Kenji agreed, but his mind was elsewhere.
As they studied, Kenji couldn't help but notice strange looks from Kiriko. It was as if Kiriko knew something that Kenji didn't.
"Kiriko, what's going on?" Kenji asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. "You've been acting strange all day."
Kiriko's expression turned serious. "there's more to the BGC than what is being told."
Kenji's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"
But before Kiriko could respond, a loud crash echoed from outside the apartment. It sounded like someone had broken in.
"What was that?" Yasu asked, her voice trembling.
Kenji's eyes locked onto Kiriko's. "I think we're about to find out." Kenji slowly got up from his seat, his eyes fixed on the door. Kiriko and Yasu followed him, their faces tense with anticipation.
As they approached the door, Kenji could hear the sound of footsteps, heavy and deliberate. It was as if someone was trying to make their presence known.
Kenji's hand instinctively went to the door handle, but Kiriko grabbed his arm, holding him back.
"Wait," Kiriko whispered. "We don't know who's on the other side of that door."
Kenji nodded, his heart racing with anticipation. He slowly turned the handle and pushed the door open, his eyes scanning the hallway beyond.
That was when he saw him - a tall, imposing figure with piercing eyes. It was only suzuki who just returned from a meeting. oh my, mr suzuki, you scared us, yasu said with relief in her eyes. ohh dear forgive me everyone I didn't mean to frighten you, mr Suzuki said. as Kenji shifted his attention back to kiriko, and asked ' what were you about to say'? well it's not that important it can wait, kiriko blurted out, unknown to kenji and yasu Suzuki had signaled kiriko not to say anything about the tournament. however, kenji was insistent on hearing what kiriko wanted to say, but before he could utter a word Suzuki stopped him by butting saying " right now your focus is ending kabuki's killer not investigating the BGC" kenji full of curiosity agreed to Suzuki's words, and went away into his room, where more mysteries were awaiting him…
