Eric, upon seeing the report in the newspaper about superheroes appearing in Blue Valley, immediately pinpointed the identity of the superhero.
Stargirl, whose real name is Courtney Whitman, is a member of the American Justice League, and her weapon is a cosmic staff.
The staff grants her the ability to fly, manipulate cosmic energy, and create constructs, and she can even use it for telepathic communication.
Moreover, the staff in Stargirl's hands is identical to the one he saw in Madame Cassandra's future predictions, the one he himself had used.
This means that in the future, he could wield Stargirl's cosmic staff.
Considering that his mother and Clark were affected by the energy released from the spaceship, and one of the staff's functions is to manipulate cosmic energy, perhaps using the staff could eliminate the Kryptonian energy inside Martha and Clark.
Based on these reasons, Eric had set his sights on the cosmic staff.
This is also why he is now at Blue Valley High School.
"Are you Courtney Whitman?"
Eric stopped and examined the blonde girl in front of him.
"Yes, do I know you?"
Courtney gave a polite smile and asked Eric.
"I don't think you do, not yet."
Eric glanced at Jessica, who was left with a severe psychological scar, Jessica swallowed and immediately looked down, pretending she didn't know him.
"But you will get to know me soon."
Eric said in a calm tone: "Because I am the villain from the Unjust League you're looking for."

Courtney was shocked by Eric's explosive declaration and took a step back.
"What? You… you're from the Unjust League? No, you must be joking!"
Once she regained her composure, Courtney shook her head vigorously, "I can't believe a member of the Unjust League is around my age."
"That's a reasonable point."
Eric pretended to nod thoughtfully, "Looks like I need to prove it to you."
As soon as he finished speaking, a crimson glow flashed in his eyes.
Nearby, a car parked outside the school gate emitted a "whoosh" sound, and a burst of flames appeared on the car's body.
The flames quickly grew larger, rapidly covering the car.
Students around were startled and fled in panic, and screams filled the air.
Perhaps due to the flames reaching the fuel tank, the fire suddenly soared into the sky, intensifying further.
"You!"
Courtney looked at Eric with a furious expression, "Stop! How dare you do this in school?"

After confirming Stargirl's interest in the Unjust League, he decided to use the name of the Unjust League.
The so-called American Unjust League, as far as Eric knew, was a group of supervillains active decades ago.
Compared to well-known classic villain organizations, Eric had never heard of this ancient group before.
If it weren't for researching information, this existence, long lost in the dust of history, might have never been discovered.
As for these unfamiliar names like Sorcerer, Brainwave, Violinist, Ice Pillar…
Eric had never even heard of them.
