Chapter 76 - Clark's Psychology Underwent Subtle Changes

Bang!

Eric jumped several meters high and landed heavily in front of Clark.

Before Clark could react, a blast of heat vision shot towards him.

The fully powered heat vision struck his body directly.

Even though Clark instinctively raised his arms to block, Eric's heat vision was obviously more powerful than his own.

Clark, half-kneeling, was continuously pushed back by the impact, with the soil beneath him plowed up, creating a deep furrow as he was forced backward.

"Huh!"

Clark's eyes, glowing fiercely red, struggled through the pain and raised his arms to resist.

But the next moment, accompanied by a burst of red laser, Clark was sent flying.

He crashed like a fastball into a nearby abandoned factory with a loud boom.

Meanwhile, Eric's heat vision continued its relentless assault.

A large tree, which required two adults to hug around, was sliced in half by Eric's heat vision, and the tall tree collapsed with a thundering crash.

The sound of the tree hitting the ground caused small stones nearby to bounce into the air.

Boom!

In the next second, Eric leaped tens of meters into the air and then plummeted straight toward the factory.

With a loud crash, his body pierced through the top floor of the abandoned factory and landed inside.

"."

Chloe was completely stunned!

She was starting to regret not bringing a camera.

Even if she couldn't report this historic moment, she could keep the footage for herself.

She would even name the footage "Battle of the Gods."

No! Even the gods of Olympus probably didn't have such combat power as these two.

Especially Eric, who completely exceeded her understanding of the world!

Standing on the other side, Lana felt not just shock, but a sudden sense of loneliness.

For a moment, she felt as if she and Eric were from two different worlds.

Inside the abandoned factory, in the dim light, Eric faced Clark directly.

Despite the beating Clark had taken, he still had some fight left in him. Gritting his teeth, he launched himself at Eric.

His fists turned into lightning, striking at Eric with untraceable trajectories.

The air was torn apart, and each punch exploded through the air, but Eric easily blocked them.

In terms of speed and strength, there was a clear difference between the two.

Especially with Eric's burst of energy and Clark's inability to master flight.

Bang!

A punch landed.

Clark couldn't dodge in time, and his temple was hit directly, sending him flying sideways and crashing heavily to the ground.

The solid concrete floor instantly cracked into pieces from the impact of Clark's side hitting the ground.

Concrete fragments flew outward, and dust filled the air.

Whoosh!

With a sound of tearing air, Eric moved like lightning to Clark's side, grabbing him by the neck and lifting him up.

"If you think you can defeat me with such tricks, you're overly naive!"

Bang!

With a single arm, Eric threw Clark, and his body crashed into the machinery in the middle of the factory with a loud clang.

Falling from the machine, Clark knelt on the ground, gasping for breath.

His body trembled slightly, shaking off the dust, and his eyes turned completely blood red.

Anger and humiliation surged within him.

Pressing his fists to the ground, Clark roared and, sticking close to the ground, briefly mastered the power of flight, charging at Eric.

His entire body turned into a meteor, and his speed increased significantly in an instant.

But at the moment of their clash, Eric grabbed his neck.

Grabbing Clark's neck, he slammed him into the ground.

Boom!

The ground seemed to explode, and Clark's back hit the ground heavily.

"I've always been curious about one thing, Clark, do you bleed?"

Eric coldly said, stepping on Clark's chest.

Without waiting for a response, he grabbed his clothes with both hands, lifted him up, and threw him out the window.

Crash!

With the sound of shattering glass, Clark's body shot out like a bullet, crashing through a wall and into another factory room.

The metal fan-shaped blades on the wall were slightly deformed by Clark's impact.

Clark was now in a semi-conscious state, staggering as he leaned against the wall, struggling to stand.

Even though his body was battered and bruised, the unwillingness and humiliation forced him to stay on his feet.

With a loud boom, the ceiling of the room was broken open.

Eric entered the room, looking at him with emotionless eyes.

"Clark, I thought you would be smarter after losing your moral compass, but it seems not. Your arrogance and stupidity have reached new heights."

As soon as he finished speaking, he rushed to Clark and punched his jaw.

The iron-like punch hit Clark hard, making him roll along the ground.

Thud!

In the next second, Eric moved over, stomping down with both feet, trying to pin Clark's body.

Clark, barely holding on, used all his strength to roll to the left.

While rolling, he tried to get up, but was immediately kicked by Eric, sending him crashing into the equipment in the room.

With the sound of metal clanging, the steel pipes and scrap metal parts in the factory were shattered, completely burying Clark underneath.

Clark had now lost all his fighting strength.

Not only his fighting strength but even his desire to fight was almost gone.

His body was wracked with unbearable, bone-deep pain, all his strength was gone, and he felt worse than when facing green kryptonite.

He didn't even have the strength to move a finger now.

The scrap metal was lifted away, and Eric stood over the fallen Clark.

Grabbing the barely-there remnants of his clothes, he pulled him up.

Face to face, he looked into the barely conscious eyes of his half-brother.

"Green kryptonite isn't your fear, Clark, I am your fear!"

He punched Clark in the cheek, sending him crashing into the wall.

The old, dilapidated wall cracked like a spider web, with dust falling down.

Clark coughed as he slid down from the wall.

In the next instant, Eric's blurred figure appeared in front of Clark, grabbing his neck and speaking contemptuously, "You're not brave at all!"

"Cough, cough…!"

Clark coughed in pain, his mindset slightly changing.

Trembling, he reached for the red gemstone ring on his left hand.
