Match stands were filled with excited spectators.
Waving flags and various cheering props, the audience cheered loudly for their home team.
"Where's Clark?"
Jonathan, sitting in the middle of the stands, scanned the warm-up football players but didn't find Clark.
"It's not just Clark, I didn't see Coach Watt either," Martha said, frowning.
"I'll go find him, you stay here," Jonathan instructed his wife to wait at the scene and left for the locker room.
"Clark!"
Calling Clark's name near the locker room, Jonathan searched for him.
"Cough... Dad, I'm here."
Clark's faint voice came from inside the locker room.
Hearing the voice, Jonathan immediately rushed to the front of the locker room.
Looking through the window, he saw Clark lying on the floor.
The room was filled with misty white heat.
"Clark, hold on!"
Pushing the door hard, Jonathan shouted to his son.
"Bang!"
The door couldn't withstand his heavy kick and finally broke open after a few kicks.
Jonathan walked over in three or two steps and helped Clark up from the ground.
"Clark! Can you hear me?"
"Chloe, Chloe... Editor's office," Clark said intermittently to his father, struggling to recover from the steam containing Kryptonite that had weakened him.
"Let's get out of here first!"
Supporting Clark, Jonathan came out of the locker room.
Suddenly!
Coach Watt appeared behind the two, holding a fire extinguisher and viciously aiming to smash Jonathan's unprotected back.
"Bang!"
The fire extinguisher didn't hit Jonathan but was firmly blocked by a hand.
A figure stood between the fire extinguisher and Jonathan.
Coach Watt, who had attacked with the fire extinguisher, looked astonished at Eric who had suddenly appeared.
He felt a blur in front of him, and the opponent appeared in front of him.
What is this?!
Why does the opponent have such fast speed?!
Holding the fire extinguisher, Eric struck back with his other hand.
The heavy fire extinguisher slammed directly towards the opponent's head.
With a loud bang!
Coach Watt was directly sent flying backward, and his body heavily hit the locker, making a deafening sound.
The locker deformed from the impact, and the items inside flew out of the cabinet.
Coach Watt, lying on the ground, passed out immediately.
"Eric!"
Seeing his younger son suddenly appear behind him, Jonathan was first surprised and then delighted.
"How did you get here? Eric."
"I thought you were right, Dad, sometimes we have to make some changes, so I changed my stance and came to the stadium."
Shaking his hand, Eric smiled at his father.
The real reason, of course, wasn't because he was interested in Clark's match, but because he quickly came after observing everything happening here with his super vision.
"That's good."
Jonathan patted Eric's shoulder and looked towards the direction of the school where thick smoke was rising. "You take care of Clark, I'll go check on the school newspaper, Chloe may be in trouble."
After instructing the two, Jonathan immediately headed towards the direction of the burning school.
"Clark."
After Jonathan left, Eric looked at Clark with a gloomy face, watching him recover from the exhaustion and heavy breathing.
Suddenly, a punch was thrown.
The heavy fist hit Clark's cheek hard.
With a loud bang, Clark staggered backward, his body heavily hitting the wall.
Although the punch wasn't strong, Clark still felt dizzy.
"I told you, if you want to be the one who protects and shows mercy, you must learn to be smarter. But obviously, Clark, you haven't become smarter, not only putting yourself and your friends in danger but also almost causing harm to Dad because of you."
"I..."
Facing Eric's accusation, Clark didn't fight back, showing a guilty expression on his face.
"I don't need your apology, Clark."
Eric's tone remained cold. "I've reminded you to pay attention to the people around you and not to be deceived by your eyes, but you still observe with your eyes rather than with something deeper. You waste your talent, and even make your family take risks for you."
Clark didn't argue, just bowed his head and clenched his fists tightly.
"I'm very disappointed in you, Clark. You should have been more mature, but now you haven't grown at all."
After giving Clark a glance, Eric turned and left.
"Father went to save people. Take care of him and don't let him get hurt."
Eric's back disappeared down the corridor, and his cold voice reached Clark's ears.
Clark raised his head, took a deep breath, and adjusted his mood.
Bang!
The figure disappeared quickly in the corridor, moving quickly towards where Jonathan was.
"Ugh!"
Coach Watt, who was shot in the head by Eric, struggled to stand up.
Blood kept flowing from his forehead, his nose was broken, and the black and blood in the corners of his eyes showed the pain he had suffered.
Even though he absorbed kryptonite and had a strong body, he was still almost hit in the head by the fire extinguisher.
"Leak!" He
cursed while enduring the pain.
"Coach Watt, you look miserable."
A frightening voice came from behind him.
Coach Watt slowly turned his head and found that Eric had returned and was standing behind him, staring at him expressionlessly.
"Are you surprised?"
Eric took a step forward, and his black eyes turned into strange pupils flashing orange-red light.
"Coach Watt, I will tolerate or even ignore your behavior, just because you haven't provoked me yet. But it seems that you think you can do whatever you want with some insignificant power, and even dare to hurt my family?"
Facing Eric's murderous eyes, Coach Watt did not retreat, but closed his eyes.
With his rhythmic breathing, flames jumped around the locker room.
Rising to the height of the skylight, carrying extremely high-temperature flames, it rushed towards Eric like a controlled giant snake.
Facing the "fire dragon" charging at him, Eric did not dodge, and let the rolling flames attack him.
Before Coach Watt could be happy, the next second, Eric walked out of the flames with an expressionless face.
"You!"
"Ziz!"
Two beams of thermal vision with a wide distance between the eyes instantly penetrated Coach Watt's eyes.
The thermal vision melted the opponent's head like magma.
Then the uncontrolled flames quickly surrounded the dead coach.
