Chapter 10 - Visit

After less than an hour, the Lances had gathered enough information from the witnesses to piece together what exactly had happened.

The Lances had put handcuffs on Arthur and his bond.

This looked strange to me.

I saw my parents and Arthur's parents running towards us but they were blocked by some rock golems. They did not seem to hurt them so I did not make any unnecessary movement.

...

They had taken Arthur to some sort of prison. I had left my mana signature on him, if I felt like his life was in danger I could save him. This was not arrogance but confidence that comes with strength.

Alice Reynold and everyone could do nothing but see their savior being taken away to prison and his mana sealed.

My parents did not know my strength but my sister did. She asked to help rescue Arthur from the lances.

I said in a loud tone for everyone to hear, even the lances.

"Remember, I have left my mana on Arthur and if anything happens to him I will destroy your so-called royal families myself."

My voice sent chills down the spine of lances because they were the only ones who knew the real horror of my strength and knew that I had the full ability to act on what I had said.

Leywin's were surprised when I boldly threatened the Royal Families of each race. They could not believe that a child a little older than their son was threatening the strongest mages in the history of Dicathen and the lances did not even dare to say a word in response to his threat.

In reality, I wanted to go with Arthur. But the lances only wanted Arthur which seemed a little suspicious.

Right then a voice entered my mind.

"Child, do not worry I will take care of your friend."

I looked around but could not pinpoint where the voice came from. It was not easy for just anyone to enter his mind and state these words. It might be someone above rank 6 mage or even above rank 7.

I do not know but for now, I can only wait and see the comeback and revenge of Arthur. If Arthur was some protagonist and this was a story then usually these turning points are like the ending of volumes in novels and after the beginning of a new volume, the protagonist would return more powerful than before.

...

It has been a few weeks since the terror incident in Xyrus Academy.

I had heard from Alice and Reynold that Arthur had gone for some training. They did not elaborate further and their mood seemed a little off when talking about Arthur. I did not think much. It might be because their son was away from them again.

Finally, I could sort out how strong I was compared to others on this continent. This was a ranking that I had thought would be the most suitable.

Rank - Apprentice = stronger than average black core

Rank 1 = Red Core

Rank 2 = Orange Core

Rank 3 = Yellow Core

Rank 4 = Silver Core

Rank 5 = white core

Rank 6 = Integration Stage.

.

If rank 6 was already enough for me to rival the strength of the peak of the whole continent then I could become invincible when reached rank 7.

Slap.

'Hold your horses.'

I slapped myself to get my head out of thoughts of becoming invincible after reaching rank 7. I should continue to remain low-key.

'Think, think Rudolf.'

I need to look at the bigger picture why would the Monarchs of each race decide to suddenly create Lance's beings stronger than Silver Core? Was it just to show off their power? I highly doubt it. As far as I remember these kings are the most afraid of being killed or taken their throne away from them.

Dicathen Continent.

Dicathen Continent.

'Wait!?'

If this is a world there should at least be other continents. And if there are other continents then there should be wars for the conquest of kingdoms. But Why I have only heard about the Dicathen Continent.

A scroll appeared in his hand. He had not looked at this scroll for 7 years. It had a magic spell cast onto it that secured it from getting dirty.

He opened it and read the information about each kingdom again.

The Kingdom of Sapin is the largest and most populated region of Dicathen. Located on the eastern border of the continent (western as seen in illustrations), the kingdom is primarily composed of humans, but there are also numerous merchants from the Dwarven race, trading many commodities. Moreover, Sapin has a symbiotic relationship with the Kingdom of Darv when it comes to resources.

Flip.

The Kingdom of Darv is a vast underground kingdom located in the southern region of Dicathen, being composed of a network of passages and vast caves that can span up to several kilometers and is the homeland of the Dwarves. Darv and the Kingdom of Sapin maintain a symbiotic relationship in the matter of resources.

Flip.

The Kingdom of Elenoir is the Elven Kingdom, deep in the Forest of Elshire of Dicathen. Located on the northern border of the continent, this kingdom is primarily composed of elves.

Flip.

Beast Glades and that is all.

I was right the other area of this continent is surrounded by water just like an island which must mean there are other beings on the other end of the sea.

And then that voice I heard when Arthur was being taken away.

Let us imagine that person was just a subordinate who was already stronger than a Rank 6 mage. Then how strong would the army commanders and how strong would their Monarch be?
