Chapter 1 - Top Tier Providence

"Who do you love the most?"

"Of course, I love brother the most." Said a little girl who has long, brown hair that goes mid-way to her back and it is often braided, kitten-like hazel eyes.

Despite being a noble's daughter she is often seen wearing simple dresses and accessories.

The person she was talking to was her elder brother Rudolf. The girl's name was Lilia. Lilia Helstea.

I did not how but I was suddenly transmigrated to this world as a newborn baby named Rudolf Helstea. I had no memories of my previous life except the knowledge of some novels.

I was a little unlucky. The world I was transmigrated into was unknown to me. I had no recollection of any continent named Dicathen.

The good thing was I was born as the heir of an aristocratic family. The eldest son of Vincent Helstea. And this world had mana. Not many people were able to become mages.

As far as I knew novels from my past life. I am sure that there must be a protagonist in this world. I just hope I am not a villain in it.

"Go play with Mother Lily." Said Rudolf.

"Bye-bye brother." Lilia waved her hand and ran out of my room.

Although I was said to be the eldest son of this household I was said to have some Time- Limit. I could not move. I had been bedridden for as long as I opened my eyes. The outside world only knows that there is only one child in the Helstea family and that is Lilia.

Even the servants did not know, only the head butler knew.

I was very sad when I knew that I had a time limit and would probably not live long enough to see my sister get married.

I tried every method I could think of to awaken the system. But there was no sign of the system till I was 8 years old.

The system I got was an op in all sense. It was the system from the TOP TIER PROVIDENCE novel. But it was a little different than the one he knew about. Atleast I had a system, It was more than enough for someone like me. I just wished to be invisible in this world and live like a complete extra. I only need enough strength to protect my family and some future friends.

Knock, knock!

"I am coming in." Said Tabitha, my mother.

"Mother I have told you many times that you do not need to knock when you enter my room." Rudolf had a resigned expression on his face.

"Oh my sweetie, This is called manners. When you get better I will teach you." Mother pulled my cheeks. I could see her love and sadness in her eyes. She thought that I did not know about my illness. Hence they acted like I was just sick.

"Mom, I heard some sounds from the room upstairs. Do we have guests?" Asked Rudolf.

"Oh yes, they are friends of your father. Your father owed them a favor of saving his life." Mother said.

She told me everything they had gone through while on their way to Xyrus City.

'Doesn't this story sound like a protagonist's?'

Ding..

[You have been aiming to be a mage for one year. These are the following options for your magic development.]

[1. Firstly, you can be a high-profile unparalleled prodigy. You can become a 7 Rank Archmage Directly.]

[2. Alternatively, you can keep a low profile and cultivate. You can activate the ability to hide your cultivation and cultivation potential and become an Apprentice Mage.]

Tap.

I calmly clicked the second option. It is not the first time the system has tried to blind my eyes by offering tempting rewards. Suddenly I felt a strange power coursing through my meridians. This must be what people call Magic or Mana to be precise. After some time everything calmed down.

After talking and laughing with my mother she went out after closing the lights and wishing me good night.

After lying down, I checked my status.

[Name: Rudolf Helstea]

[Lifespan: 10 / 20 (Sick)]

[Race: Mortal]

[Mage Rank: Apprentice]

His status still showed that he would die when he reached 20.

'Let's just leave the recovery to the system.' Thought Rudolf. He closed his eyes.
