It was an emotion that Sieg was no stranger to.
For as long as she had been alive, she was afraid of many things.
In her childhood, it involved the thought of whether she would be able to eat something for that day.
As she got older and became a teen before eventually being adopted, her greatest fear was about not dissapointing her new kind father.
Once she finally became an adult and joined her father in the government, her greatest concern was about not letting any criminal run free to protect the lives of as many people as possible.
But in all her years, despite her many fears, she was proud to say that she had never been scared for her life.
Even in the tower, she was blessed with a powerful class and innate rune and had never encountered anything outside her ability to deal with.
However, all of that changed today when she for the first time experienced the fear of death.
