"What an interesting kid," Mr. Nyan muttered now, all alone in the white room.
When he was awakening mana inside Raze, he was surprised to see mana already dormant inside him.
Usually, it was his job to awaken humans and other races that didn't have mana on their home planet and make them able to use it.
But Raze already had it, so he just awakened it for him.
He really wasn't sure why that was the case, especially considering how Earth was supposed to not have mana or any other special energies.
While he was curious, he had seen a lot more crazy things during his time, so he wasn't too pressed about it.
But even with that, Raze had definitely piqued his interest.
"I look forward to what you will show me, Raze. Make sure to not fail to meet my expectations."

Once Rey opened his eyes, he found himself in some sort of plain grass field.
He was surrounded by a bunch of other humans like him, and most of them looked confused.
"Just what's even going on here?" one of the men amongst the crowd asked.
"I don't know," another man answered.
"Are we all going to die?"
"I don't want to die," a woman cried.
Alex could tell that panic and unease were spreading among the crowd.
Thankfully, before it could get any worse, Mr. Nyan appeared in the sky in front of everyone.
"Greetings, humans. I have already introduced myself before, so I don't think I need to repeat myself," he said, his signature deep voice paired with his cute appearance making for a funny scene.
And despite this, no one dared point it out or laugh.
It was almost like an instinctual feeling of guaranteed death, like one would feel in the presence of a predator.
Everyone could tell that their lives weren't in their own hands, and one wrong move was all it would take for them to die.
"I'm sure most of you guys must be really confused about what's happening."
"But don't worry; as long as you can clear the first tutorial, everything will be explained in due time."
Alex could tell just from looking at the expressions of the people that a lot of them were still not convinced and had doubts.
Despite this, no one dared to question the being in front of them.
"I'm glad you guys are so understanding," the cat smiled almost as if getting some sort of sick pleasure from observing the helplessness of the humans.
"If you want any information in the tower, you need to either buy it or earn it, so don't expect to be spoonfed."
"Now to explain the first tutorial for you guys."
"I will be summoning a few thousand goblins for you guys to fight."
Gasps of shock could be heard from amongst the crowd as fear and panic slowly took hold of everyone present except for a few.
Mr. Nyan seemed to have noticed this but didn't acknowledge it, almost as if expecting such a response.
"All you need to do is kill 20 goblins in under 10 minutes to move on."
"What happens if anyone fails to accomplish this within the given time limit?" a voice asked from amongst the crowd.
"They will die," Mr. Nyan said nonchalantly, his voice containing indifference.
"Oh god!" someone amongst the crowd exclaimed.
"I don't want to die," another man cried.
"Please tell me this is a dream."
Just from looking at Mr. Nyan's expression, it was getting more and more obvious how annoyed he was with having to explain to the humans and deal with their tantrums.
Alex was getting increasingly worried due to this, thinking he might do something extreme like kill a few humans to take out his anger.
Thankfully, he was just overthinking, and nothing like that happened, and instead, Mr. Nyan just disappeared from the spot he was levitating over.
Seeing this confusion once again spread amongst the humans, they wondered what was going to happen.
Sadly, this confusion was soon replaced by fear as their question was answered.
Standing roughly 500 metres away from humans were humanoid beasts.
Despite standing on two legs and resembling humans a bit, it was obvious to tell the differences.
They had green skin, slightly longer ears, a short height similar to that of a kid, crooked teeth, and poorly built weapons.
For anyone who had even a little experience with the fantasy genre, it was obvious what these beasts were.
They were goblins, and they numbered thousands and massively outnumbered the humans.
Fear had taken hold of everyone present, rendering them paralysed and too scared to move.
The goblins had malevolent grins on their faces, seeing this as they charged towards the humans.
Their footsteps shake the earth itself.
In such a desperate situation where all hope seemed lost, a black-haired young man separated from the crowd and charged towards the horde heading their way.
And once he was close enough, he targeted a lone goblin who was a bit faster than the rest of its group, causing it to be ahead of all the other goblins and be the first to make contact with the purple-eyed boy.
~Krowl~
The goblin let out a battle cry once it saw the human as it tried to use the crudely made knife it was holding and lunged it at the human.
Everyone who was seeing him held their breaths as they expected the brave boy to get pierced and die.
But surprising everyone, the boy expertly sidestepped as he dodged the attack.
Which causes the goblin to be in a vulnerable position due to its arm still being outstretched.
The boy attempted to use the dagger he was given earlier by Mr. Nyan to pierce the goblin's head and end it with one clean strike.
However, just when the dagger was about to pierce the goblin and kill it, something unexpected happened.
~BANGG!!~
A bullet had been fired and hit the goblin straight in the head, killing it instantly without any effort from the man who had fired it.
After the gunshot, silence engulfed the whole plain as even the goblins stopped their charge for just a moment to stare at the masked youth responsible for the shot along with the humans.
The masked boy still had his gun in his arm, with smoke coming out of the barrel.
Seeing all the attention on him, the only thing the boy said was.
"I hope you don't mind me helping out."
