Often times, during a moment of high intensity and concentration, athletes subconsciously reach a trance-like state.
Allowing them to exhibit capabilities that surpass anything they would normally be capable of.
In the past, Raze had often heard stories about athletes who had experienced this state.
But he always thought they were exaggerating.
That was until today, when, having experienced the state himself, he could tell that they weren't exaggerating and he was just ignorant.
But even amongst these countless tales of these athletes, one factor remained consistent.
None of them were able to experience this state for the second time.
Their career would peak the first time, and they would spend their whole life chasing after that high again, only to ultimately fail and retire.
