She liked this calm and cool atmosphere,the woman sitting with her could not help but gaze at her friend surreptitiously,the woman seem to have deep thoughts running through her mind,the air around her felt lonesome,since she had known this friend of hers she had observed that she was an independent person only relying on herself sometimes she had felt the need for this friend of hers to rely on her a little but alas..she shook her head and sighed sadly.
"So what do you plan to do now that you are back in the capital"Su Li asked suddenly as she turned her head to look at the other party,Xi jiayin was struck at first as she did not expect the question at first,she just smiled,she didn't have any plans when she was coming back home,she just missed her hometown after staying overseas for many years she felt bored and wanted to come back home she didn't think of anything when she got on the plane back to the capital so the question hit her a little.
Su Li scrutinize her friend and from her expression it seems this friend of hers didn't plan anything ahead,she wouldn't be so surprised though through all the years she had known her she was a spontaneous person who just goes with the flow. "Anyways since you are here now I will make sure to treat you well I might not have the time to show you around but if you need anything I'm here".
The latter smiled as they continued chatting suddenly a question seemed to pop in her head. "Xiao Li are you and that guy married yet?the former was confused on the question asked. "Xiao Li I'm asking about that guy that you always stare at his picture all night,and when I asked you said that he was your brother ..something sheng and that you miss him a lot so I thought since you were back in the capital for over five years now you two would have gotten together,are you guys together now?
By the time she finished speaking the air around Su Li had turn cold her expression but it slowly disappeared. "No we didn't get together,I married someone else.Xi jiayin looked at her the way she said it was like there was nothing exciting about it like it was just an ordinary thing. "Didn't you love him why did you marry someone else? in her memory she remembered Su Li always looking at a picture of an handsome guy with love and longing in her eyes and she had thought that she misses the boy a lot so she had pop the question,did the boy not reciprocate her friend's feelings for her to marry someone else she wondered.
"He's dead,let's not talk about it,where do you plan to stay"Su Li said as she didn't want to bring up the past.Her friend looked at her and knew not to prob further, "I was hoping to stay at a hotel for the time been till I find an apartment as I do not want to stay with my parents"she answered although her parents were well off being twenty nine this year she didn't want to leave off them anymore this was one of the reasons she was back in the country she wanted to find her own ground.
"Hotels are no better I can give you the keys to my old apartment,it's not far from the city center you can stay there for the meantime till you get your own".She said as she rummage through her bag and brought out the keys to her apartment and handed it to her
"This…Xiao Li thank you"she collected the keys actually she didn't like staying at a hotel either and was happy at her friends offer. "You don't have to say thank you,come I will take you there,she said and the two women left after settling the bills
