"Grandpa...Please don't leave me...Please...Come back..."
A voice was heard in one pitch-black room.
*Alarm ringing*
"What was that..." A female voice was heard, Lucine Vale is a 17-year-old who experienced losing her grandfather at the age of 7. She had loved him ever since childhood but suddenly passed away when she was 7. It was her world but ever since that incident, her world is just nothing. "Gosh... Another Nightmare..." She said to herself, suddenly, she saw a notification on her phone.
*Notification*
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): Girl, where the hell are you?!
Lucine Vale: HUH? WAIT, IS THERE SCHOOL
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): Duh, it's a Monday, and you didn't oversleep, did you?
Lucine Vale: I did, look, I'll get there, I'm going to get ready
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): Is it because of your grandpa?
Lucine Vale: Yea
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): It's hard to move on, but you can do it. I'm here for you if you need anything.
Lucine Vale: Thanks, I'll get ready, see you at school
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): See you also!
Lucine gets off her phone and gets dressed. She dressed and heard a familiar voice, "Lucine Vale, you'll be late for the bus! Come down now." It was her mother's voice. She went downstairs and saw her mother, "The bus will be here. So get ready young lady," her mother said to her. The bus arrived and she got inside the bus. While she was sitting down, she had another notification on her phone.

Tanya Gonzales (BFF): GIRL
Lucine Vale: Why?
Tanya Gonzales (BFF): Have you heard the rumors that there will be a new student on the campus???
Lucine Vale: No, not yet.
Tanya Gonzales (BFF); Later I'll tell you all about it
Lucine Vale: Ok, sure
She got off her phone and realized that she was near the school. She got off the bus and someone hugged her behind, "Hey bestie!" It was Tanya, her BFF. "Oh, hey Tanya. So, who is it? What's the new student's name?" Lucine asked Tanya, "Oh, it's a boy and he's so cute. His name is Cryrus Ainsley."
"Cryrus?"
"Yeah! And I heard some rumors that he's a dancer and know how to sing! Oh and he's also a volleyball player too!"
"Oh, I see"
"Oooohhh, someone is interested!"
"No I'm not Tanya."
"Yes you are! Plus you two might make a great couple!"
"Sorry, but I don't want to love a boy."
"Come ooonnn, anyways, we need to get to class, see you later!"
"Yeah, see you later too."
They went to their seperate class. Lucine went to her English class since it was her first subject, suddenly, the principal called her in the office.
"Miss Vale please go to the office immediately. I repeat, Miss Vale please go to the office immediately." Lucine was surprised, but even so, she needs to go to the principal office. When she got there, she knock at the door and heard a voice.
"Come in."
She opens the door to the office, inside, she saw the principal sitting on a brown - leather chair. The principal said, "Please have a seat, Ms. Vale." She takes her seat and asked, "why did you call me Principal Fernandez?"
"I want to talk about your achievements, you've been a top student in this school, I must say, I'm impressed, so, I want you to represent our school in a upcoming competition."
"What kind of competition is it, Sir..?"
"A Journalist Competition, all school in Eastwind is competing for this. I know you've have been winning a lot of photojournalist competition so this is a great opportunity to join this competition and win this for the school. So, Miss Vale, will you accept the invitation?"
"I... Yes I will"
"Great, I'll tell your mother about the details."
"Is that what you want to talk about...?"
"Yes, that's all, thank you Ms. Vale."
"Okay, then I'll take my leave then."
She stands up from the chair and leaves the principal office. She went to her classes for the day, after she was done with all of her classes, she leaves her school.
"Heyyy, Lucine!"
She turn around only to see her best friend
"Oh, hey."
"What happened to you and the principal?
"Oh nothing, it's just that I'm going to join another journalist competition."
"Ohhhh sounds fun!"
"Yeah, anyways. I need to go, bye."
"Okay, see you tomorrow!"
They go to their seperate ways. Lucine made her way to her house, when she arrived, she open the front to see her parents, fighting, again.
"I told you a million times, I am not cheating on you!"
"Well yeah? I saw lipstick stains in your polo yesterday?!"
"There they go again..."
Lucine said to herself, she lock the front door and goes to her room and closes her door.
"Oh why did you go away so early, grandfather...?"
