Grace was present at the restaurant with a few traditional publishers; she had been so curious for this meeting as they planned to make her book available around the world.
The meeting was almost over when she saw a familiar figure walk in; it was Raymond.
"I can't believe he showed up here," she clenched her fist, knowing fully well that he had probably tracked her down here.
"Excuse me," Grace said before she stood up. She was about to approach Raymond when she saw a familiar figure approach him.
"Mother," her brows furrowed. Why were they together?
Next thing she knew, Mei Li wrapped her hands around Raymond's neck and pecked his lips.
Her eyes widened in shock, and the fact that Raymond just stood there still infuriated her so much.
Grace was about to hurry to them when one of the publishers called out, "Are you okay? Why do you look as if you have seen a ghost?"
