Raymond had booked a restaurant to spend the entire night with Grace; he had sent his driver to get her, and it was already more than forty minutes and he wasn't back.
"Why is he so late?" He snorted and dialed the driver's contact, which got connected
"Where are you?"
"Boss, Miss Chen isn't at her place... I can't find her."
Raymond chuckled lightly; of course she wouldn't show up even when he had threatened her with his life.
"Write the restaurant address and place it on her door; she will come," he ordered and hung up before he sat on the chair and stared into space.
"She was going to come."
She was still his little lotus and will naturally be worried about him, so she was definitely going to show up.
Minutes turned into hours, and Grace still didn't show up. This was the first time in his life where he had to patiently wait for someone, but they didn't show up.
