Grace stared at the food in front of her but she had no appetite, then a maid walked to Mei Li.
"Ma'am, I am done preparing your daughter's bedroom,"
Grace frowned at Mei Li "I didn't come to stay,"
She had only come to ask her help to see Raymond and not to stay with her, she couldnt afford to stay with Mei Li because that could give others the wrong impression.
"It's late, how about you spend the night and tomorrow we could talk?"
"I can't…"
"Just one night, I can't allow you roaming the streets at such an hour. Eat something and have a good rest okay?" she smiled at her and Grace sighed heavily, how could she rest when she didn't know about Raymond's condition?
"I went to see Raymond but they didn't let me," tears rolled down her cheeks, Mei Li clenched her fist as her daughter was crying for Raymond and she hated that.
