Grace helped open his door, but he didn't step down. "Mr. Xu, won't you come down?" she asked, and he raised a brow.
"Will you try to kiss me again?" He teased, and her cheeks quickly turned red as she took a step backwards. He stepped down, threw away the cigarette, closed the car door, leaned on it, and placed his hand in his trouser pockets.
"What was your call about?" he asked, and she became nervous. Will he scold her?
"I sent you a message saying it was a play," she replied, and his frown deepened. "No, I am lying," she blurted at once. She had become so scared of lying to him because she felt he could see past her lies.
"I… I was sad; you hardly call me, hardly reply to my messages, and just disappear all of a sudden," she mustered her courage and replied him.
"And what will you have me do?" He asked, and her eyes lit up.
