It's been more than a week and the vipers didn't show up at Mira's home. Grace was finally satisfied despite being assured countless times by Raymond that no one would show up.
"Should we go to the hills?" Grace asked with a pleading tone; all Raymond wanted to do was stay at home and smoke, but she didn't want that.
Raymond stared at her face, and she had her lips pouted. "Fine." He sighed heavily and walked past her and hurried to the car before she went after him and they drove out.
They passed by the central store when they saw some men beating up the villagers. Raymond ignored them and chose to drive away, but that wasn't the case for Grace.
"Will you just leave? Don't you see those stupid vipers are harassing the villagers?" Grace scolded Raymond, who hesitantly parked the car; all he wished for was to mind his business, so why was she putting him in others business?
