Chapter 169 - I Will Handle It

The villagers stared at Grace in disbelief. "Why did you do that?" Kein asked and Grace ignored the question; the mood was already ruined as they packed up and bid Grace goodbye. 

Grace sighed heavily and cleaned up the space, but Raymond was still not back.

"Where did he go to?" She was scared and upset at the same time. Why couldn't he let her know that he would be gone for long, and also what if something happened to him?

It was nearly 19:00 pm, and he still wasn't back. She had paced around the sitting room worriedly and even went around searching for him but couldn't find him. 

"Oh my…" She broke down in tears. Did something happen to him, or did he leave?

"Please, Ray," she didn't want to cry, so why was he making her cry?

The sound of the engine revving could be heard outside. Grace hurried to the door and pushed it open. 

Raymond walked down the car, and there was another black van behind him.
