As Alistair's temperature plummeted and his soul gradually left his rock hard body, Alistair saw all his memories in the blink of an eye.
"I guess this can be called my life flashing before my eyes." Slightly content with the life he had lived, Alistair slowly accepted the face that he was going to die.
Just when he was about to give up completely, Alistair saw the memory of when he saw his lover's face for the last time.
In this memory they weren't smiling. Heck, he wasn't even happy and he was the only one who had that memory.
The last time he saw her face was after Alex had beheaded her and carried her head right in front him.
Feeling a mixture of anger and remorse which eventually birthed rage, Alistair asked. "How could I have forgotten?"
"How can I be content with my life when I haven't even avenged her? How would I face her when I meet her in the afterlife?"
Continuously asking himself those questions, Alistair subconsciously kept replaying the scene of her head dangling by her hair.
There was a smile on her face as if she had long accepted her death, even though her eyes were closed they showed she was satisfied with her life, and her pretty face was still the same as ever –dignified.
It was clear, she was happy that she had met Alistair and would never hold him responsible for her death.
Although he knew that she wouldn't blame him for her death, Alistair wanted to get revenge for her sake and also use that as retribution for ruining her life.
"How could I forget that I swore to burn it all down?" Alistair asked himself.
His voice was cold, not showing an ounce of the anger, remorse, and slight disgust he felt.
As Alistair's desire for vengeance burned brightly within his chest, he saw a blue screen slowly materialize in front of him.
Just when he was about to reply, Alistair felt a strange force wash over him and making him lose consciousness immediately.
But before he did, Alistair saw the memories of the first time he met the person who changed his life.

In a snow-filled cave, the figure of a blond-haired boy with black eyes could be seen resting on the cave's wall while looking ahead of him with blank eyes.
His hair was shoulder-length and his black eyes were hollow –seemingly devoid of hope for the future.
Atop his head sat a pair of backward-facing black horns, and along his lower arms ran golden scales that reflected whatever rays of sunlight landed on it.

"It's terribly cold up here." A girl with purple hair and amber eyes said, shivering slightly with each step she took.
Irritated by the harsh snow atop the mountain, a green-haired boy cursed. "Who's the bastard that said this shit hole wasn't cold?!"
"That bastard was you bud." Another boy replied, smiling lightly as he looked at his best friend.
"Ah, I see..." The green-haired boy said, slightly embarrassed he added. "In that case, who the hell said a dragon was spotted here?!"
"That was also you." His best friend replied, laughing dryly he added. "It's freaking cold though."
Clearing his throat, the green-haired boy walked to his friend and whispered. "Lets talk in private."
While the green-haired boy spoke, he continuously glanced at the purple-haired girl.
"Oh, alright."
After walking a few meters away from where the girl stood, the green-haired boy had a frown appear on his face as he said in a displeased tone. "What the f*ck bro? You know I brought Alyeen here to impress her and if you keep doing this I won't make any progress."
"I just didn't want you to make a fool of yourself." His friend replied in defense, feeling sorry he added. "But I'll try not to do it again."
Pleased by his friend's apology, the green-haired youth had a smile on his face as he said. "This is why you're my best friend."
"Same here." His friend sighed, remembering the beaming smile on his friend's face he muttered inaudibly. "But you aren't the only one who likes her."
"Don't worry I'll pay you back with my specially made cream puffs." The green-haired youth promised, laughing in delight as he made his way back to Alyeen's side.
Seeing the duo, Alyeen said. "Let's head back Ray, it's getting late."
"We aren't to far away from the cave." Unwilling to give up the green-haired youth who was named Ray said, turning to look at his friend he added. "Jace we aren't that far away right?"
Deciding to play along, Jace said. "If I remember correctly it should be about twenty meters away."
"Okay." Alyeen replied, staring at the duo with cautious in her heart.

"What are they doing here?" The blond boy asked, having detected the three approaching figures with the aid of the wind.
Soon closing his eyes, the boy linked his intent to the wind that surrounded the trio.
Irritated by his unexpected visitor's, the boys body suddenly released a cloud of black mist that gradually encompassed his figure.
When every inch of his body was covered by that dark mist, the boys body vanished from where he was seated –leaving no proof of his existence.
A few seconds after the blond boy had disappeared, Ray could be seen leading his friends into the cave with a smile on his face.
Cautious, Alyeen said. "Aren't we supposed to make sure nothing resides in there."
"Nothing resides in here and even if something did I'll kill it. Even if it is that Dragon." Ray bragged, laughing loudly as he walked into the cave.
"Ray is very strong. As long as he's here nothing would hurt you." Jace assured, walking in after Ray immediately when he finished talking.
"That isn't very reassuring." Alyeen muttered, feeling uncomfortable she stayed at the cave's entrance.
Excited, Ray ran up to Jace and asked. "So was she impressed?"
Shaking his head, Jace responded. "There wasn't the slightest change in her expression."
"I see." Ray said, having his ego dealt a severe blow he gritted his teeth and began walking towards the cave's entrance.
"Just forget." Jace advised, grabbing hold of Ray's arm.
Pissed, Ray looked at Jace's fat figure and mocked. "You wouldn't understand how I feel. As I'm sure with that fat figure of yours, no girl would want to be with you since they'd be afraid of getting squashed when you guys are f*cking."
"Oh, my bad. I meant that only pigs or oversized dumplings like yourself would be willing to get railed by you." Ray continued, having completely lost his temper.
Dumbfounded, Jace asked with worry in his eyes. "What's wrong with you?"
Chuckling, Ray yelled. "What's wrong with me?! Let me tell you something fatso! You are my problem!"
"Despite being inferior in looks, talent, grades, strength, and worst of all you're fat you still get chosen over me!" As Ray yelled, he had bright red veins pop across his skin like snakes with his eyes becoming bloodshot.
"Ray listen to–"
Interrupting Jace, Ray barked. "This time, you will listen to me!"
"I never complained about the times that you stole my thunder but this time you want to take Alyeen?!" Ray asked, unaware that blood had began seeping out of his skin.
"Ray please look at your–"
"I should look at myself right?! I'm sure as hell you want to tell me something is wrong with me!" Cutting Jace off, he added. "Well, I am perfectly fine!"
"Just take a look at your body!" Jace roared, having tears well up in his eyes as he gazed at Ray's bleeding figure.
"My body?" Pulled out of his frenzy, Ray stared at his hands and couldn't help but widen his eyes to limit after seeing what they had become.
His hands were soaked in blood –making it look like he had just committed a gruesome murder– but the blood was his, and the surprising thing was that he wasn't injured in the slightest.
"You're bleeding from your pores." Jace wept, clearing the fog that clouded Ray's mind.
"I'm bleeding from my–"
Thud!
Before ray could finish his sentence, he suddenly fell on the cave's cold floor –coughing out blood as his bloodied body twitched.
