"That's right, I am," Di Tian took a deep breath and answered straightforwardly. "Are you?"
Even he was surprised at his own bold accusation. But Fang Ao did not appear to mind and merely chuckled coldly.
"You're overthinking it," he said. "If I really wanted to get you killed, I'd do so directly. And a single finger would suffice for the job, not some shitty tricks."
Di Tian frowned but could not refute this statement. For all he knew, Fang Ao could indeed kill him with a simple finger strike.
"Go in, I'll enter after you," Fang Ao abruptly changed the topic and pointed at the door.
Di Tian smiled wryly, not surprised that Fang Ao did not reply his question.
"Can you go in first?" Di Tian answered slyly. His intention was to just follow behind the cultivator and have him bear any potential danger for both of them.
