The Martial Spirit Avatar was unexpectedly directly torn apart in the resultant collision and disintegrated.
The culprit was the particularly destructive sliver of energy that coated the longsword in the swordsman's hand. Apparently, his level of the Sword Law comprehension was not ordinary at all, and his sword strike resulted in an insta-kill as soon as it touched the body of the Avatar.
Thankfully though, the destruction of Di Tian's Martial Spirit Avatar was not permanent as it was capable of recondensing at any time. As a matter of fact, at the exact moment it was torn apart, it reappeared in the Sun Zone around the Primordial Helix, ready to be summoned again.
Di Tian, despite being frozen, was actually capable of mentally summoning it again at the cost of some of his spirit Qi, but he shelved the idea for two reasons.
