He sat there for over an hour mediating to calm his mind.
When he felt a sense of tranquility, he began to circulate the bright lightning technique to proactively draw in the ambient mana in his courtyard.
The mana slowly made its way through Horo's unopened meridian's.
When it completed a full cycle and landed where a mana core should be, but in the world of cultivation system it's the lower dantian, that's when it happened.
Two completely different power systems from two different realities and worlds intersected for the first time and something miraculously happened.
What happened was different from what Horo knew for both power systems.
In Azure moon, the Mana core is located in the navel area and is usually naturally formed over time as the body absorbs mana. The mana core has three layers to it, the core, the refinery and the shell. As an energy structure It has different levels of quality which are white, blue, purple and gold in that exact order. The mana core is also anchored to the soul.
In the cultivation world, you have the lower dantian. When cultivating energy you have to start with body refinement in order to be able to house spirit energy. Next you have meridian opening realm, this realm differs for all cultivators and depends on talent to determine how many meridians you can open.
After that you would have the core formation realm where you for a core in your dantian, which is more like a seed and is used to condense spiritually energy in the space of your dantian, golden core. The dantian has nothing to do with the soul until the nascent soul realm.
But what happened now didn't follow either path.
First off the slither of energy he condensed wasn't Mana, nor was it spiritual energy. It also wasn't the next forms of mana such as aura pseudo void energy. It is an entirely different energy.
Secondly it didn't try to form a mana core, or enter his dantian, it just floated in the navel area where his dantian or mana core should be located.
Horo decided to ask Alma, " Alma do you see this? Do you have any clue or evidence of what this energy is in your archives?"
"No father, would you like me to inspect it with my new energy recognition function?"
"Yes, go ahead" said Horo
"Scanning strange energy"

"Would you like to name this new unknown energy?"
"Father, I have no information on this energy but it seems to have properties of spiritual energy and mana, but also seems to be a step above both. Would you like to name it?
"Sure, let's name it Spirit Mana."

"Speaking of that what's the difference between Mana and spiritually energy Alma" asked Horo
"Take a look father" said Alma while projecting a screen showing the aspects of both.

It gives all on the path of cultivation greater longevity and transcendent power. It specializes in breaking shackles through enlightenment to go against the heavens and achieve longevity.

Mana is used mainly as fuel, as it is an energy source as well as an energy structure that resides in most beings in Azure moon as a Mana Core. Most skills cannot be activated without the use of Mana, and different tiers of skills require different qualities of mana. Mana can help creatures, beasts and humanoids evolve as Mana exp, and can strengthen the body immensely with the growth in quality of the mana core. It specializes in strengthening, whether its skills, treasures or physical bodies and opening different paths of evolution.
"Umm so Mana is basically for strengthening and physical evolution, while spiritual energy better suits spiritual enlightenment and breaking shackles. They sound nearly the same when it comes to the end result, but the small differences in the way they pursue power makes the paths completely different." Said Horo
"Also father we would need to so if mana is as universal as spiritual energy or if it's just a energy source in this small world, don't forget the main path to divinity in this world is stages." Said Alma
Horo nodded then said " Your right Alma let's not come to any conclusions until we reach a certain level of power and learn more about this world, until then let's see how I'm going to grow "
Alma then began speaking " Alright father, Spirit Mana may be a major part in your growth, but your energy cultivation will be extremely unpredictable we will have to try to guide it in a direction we think favorable, maybe we can incorporate aspects of both the path of mana progression and spiritual cultivation. That does not mean we won't continue to utilize and grow your negative energy, in fact I plan to incorporate all paths of power into your growth plan and we will use the stages as a checkpoint to adjust your path step by step.
