Chapter 14 - Prologue: From Ashes, a New Beginning

Many say that if you are willing to look past the draconian authoritarian laws of the Imperial system of Ostadonia, it would undoubtedly be the best place to settle at and try to make a living.

Since antiquity, the Empire of Ostadonia has strived to do justly with their citizens, setting fair taxes and conscription systems, and in exchange, the empire maintains the systems necessary for their subjects to have a prosperous and healthy life so long as they remain in line with the laws that it set.

However, this is limited to the five nations that comprise the Imperial governance system, namely: The Empire of Tenka, The Kingdom of Qima, the Monarchical Republic of Marl Kah, the United Turkman Tribes and the Dukedom of Boreas. For everyone else that live in what is called the "Feudal Domains of Ostadonia" these systems are non-existent, and everyone is subject to the whims of their ruling feudal lords.

For the past several centuries, most of the people that inhabit these lands knew nothing but hardship and suffering as most of the nobles who were drunk with power sent their men to wage their personal wars and the rest were subjected to hard labor and suffering bordering that of outright slavery.

For so long, this has been the one constant truth. The status quo that none can ever dream or dare to topple.

"My name is Jonathan Hakuryuu H. Bougainvillea, Baron of the Fenris branch family of House Bougainvillea."

However, with the arrival of a young man who bows to no other people than those that he truly respected, this status quo began to show its vulnerability.

"…and I am here to declare this one thing and one thing alone. By the time that I return to my domain to rightfully rule it, none of you will remain in those seats."

The Wolf of Serafina swore even amidst the rapturous jeering of all of the people that day…

"You will bow down to the ground… or I will bury you into it myself!"
