King Razhal turned around and left without saying any word to his warriors and even Oberion. He walked right through the gates of the inner courtyard and met with Hezine who stood with a forlorn expression.

The Lycan need no think too much to understand what the slender man meant. What they had thought to be a careless invasion had ultimately turned out to be done purposefully. Initiate a distraction in the city and use that as an avenue to get what they wanted, and sure it had been successful for them, or so he would like to make them think. But, there's no way he'd managed to live this long only for him to be caught unawares by such cheap strategies.
