Reinhardt Pendragon
Larry leaned back in his chair, a nostalgic look on his face. "Reinhardt Pendragon, where do I even start? He was a nerd, a weakling, but with potential. He didn't want to fight, didn't want to get his hands dirty."
Scarlet and Ace raised an eyebrow. "That doesn't sound like someone you'd want on your team, Larry."
Larry chuckled. "You're right, but Reinhardt had a dream. He wanted to be like his grandfather, Alexander Arkhenius."
Kai's eyes widened. "Who's that?"
Larry's expression turned serious. "Only the creator of the legendary weapons, Kai. The ones that are said to be able to vanquish any darkness."
Zach's eyes lit up. "Whoa, that's heavy."
Larry nodded. "Yeah, it is. And Reinhardt wanted to follow in his footsteps. But he was too scared, too afraid to take the leap."
Derek frowned. "So, what happened to him?"
Larry's expression turned somber. "That's a story my friends. But trust me, Reinhardt's story is one you won't want to miss."
"Reinhardt's dad pushed him to become a Holy Knight," Larry said, his eyes gazing into the past. "But he wanted to be like his grandfather, Alexander Arkhenius."
Kai's curiosity was piqued. "Who's that?"
Larry's expression turned reverent. "The creator of the legendary weapons. And I got the legendary weapon Aerope from him, a long katana blade that's been my trusty companion in battle."
Zach's eyes widened in awe. "That's amazing!"
Larry's gaze dropped, his voice tinged with regret. "Yeah, but back then, I used to bully Reinhardt a lot. He was a coward and afraid, even though he had the Elyon Blessing."
Kai's eyes narrowed. "What's the Elyon Blessing?"
Larry took a deep breath, his words spilling out like a confession. "When you're a Holy Knight recruit, if you can keep your 1st rank for 5 years until you become a Holy Knight, you can get a wish from the God of Heaven, Elyon. Reinhardt's dad asked Elyon to grant his son his blessing, and it includes Sword Saint, Durability, Divine Protection, Darkness Immunity, Elemental Reflection, Intelligence, Arrow Avoidance, Riding Mastery, Swiftness, Divine Smithing, Weapon Empowerment, Armor Reinforcement, and Divine Inspiration."
Kai's eyes screamed in disbelief. "That's OP! No wonder you said he was stronger than you, Larry! With all those cheats, I mean, blessings, he's basically unbeatable!"
"Yeah, you're right, Kai," Larry said, his eyes serious. "Reinhardt's a force to be reckoned with. That's why I need to pay him a visit and get his son on the team. We need all the help we can get if we want to win the tournament."
Kai's curiosity got the better of him. "Does Reinhardt's son want to follow in his father's footsteps and become a blacksmith?"
Larry shook his head. "No, actually. Reinhardt's son wants to be a Holy Knight, just like his grandfather."
Zach's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? I thought he'd want to take over the family business."
Larry chuckled. "No, Reinhardt's son has other plans. He wants to make a name for himself as a Holy Knight, just like his grandfather did. And with his father's blessing, he's got a good chance of succeeding."
Kai's eyes narrowed. "And what about Reinhardt? Does he support his son's decision?"
Larry nodded. "Yeah, he does. Reinhardt's proud of his son's ambition, even if it doesn't follow in his own footsteps. And he's willing to do whatever it takes to help his son succeed."
