After the clash, I immediately leaped back and took a bit of a distance from him.
I was quite annoyed with him, and the reason for that was the fact that he had somehow managed to amplify my emotions. I still don't know how he managed to do so, and that meant that as long as he stayed there, he was going to be an annoying threat.
The man in question stood confidently in front of me. Stussy immediately moved out the way as soon as she was set free from that purple mist that he had been using to restrain her.
"You're a long way from The New World, Boris," Redfield stated.
"I could say the same to you,"
"Oh I was just roaming around, but I happened to stumble upon you," Redfield replied.
"So you are joining the alliance," I concluded.
It was then that Redfield's forehead began showing veins, he grinded his fangs as he continued to grip his umbrella furiously.
"Alliance? With those bafoons?! Who the hell do you take me for?!" Redfield roared.
He immediately lunged at me, and I raised Labrys to block his attack. He immediately used this momentum to go on the offensive, and started barraging me with countless attacks. I immediately began using Observation Haki and the Labry's handle to evade and block the onslaught of attacks that he was raining on me.
His last attack made him use his entire body weight to press down on me. So I ended up taking the oppurtunity to kick him away so that I could start my offensive counter strike. I raised my axe and immediately swung it down, but Redfield seemed to have an expertise in Observation haki, because he was dodging and diverting all the swings that I was sending his way.
"Is this the skill of the dragon that killed six World Nobles? Surely not!" Redfield snorted.
I immediately used the momentum from the horizontal swing that I just did to make another attack. The combined force diagonally landed on Redfield's guard, which barely managed to stop the attack. The ground beneath him immediately caved in as the entire island tremored as an after shock of my attack.
I leaped away before coating my own axe with Armament Haki before landing a bit of a distance away from him.
"Care to explain why you're attacking?"
The Red Count laughed for a bit as he emerged from the crater.
"I don't have to explain my actions to anyone," Patrick stated, "however, since I'm going to be the Pirate King soon, why not?"
"The World is about to undergo a big change. Haven't you seen Big Mom and Shiki gearing up for war?" Patrick started, spreading his arms as he gazed towards the heavens, "Even Roger has already began his journey to find the End Of The World! It's no longer time to dialogue over who's right or wrong! It's time for action!!!"
I looked at him indifferently as he continued talking.
"The Marines won't be able to do anything to stop us pirates. So why wait?" Redfield concluded.
"I think you have one thing mistaken," I remarked.
"Ho? And what would that be?" Redfield replied.
"You're going under the assumption that I won't kill you here and leave your corpse here.." I replied, twirling my axe as I stirred my Conqurer's haki.
"I'm not sure what they told you about me, but I'm not as weak as I look," Redfield smiled, and it was then that he immediately dissapeared before I felt something hit me on the back of my head.
I immediately flew towards the side and hit one of the buildings that was nearby. The bastard had managed to move faster than my Observation haki could sense. I immediately broke out of the building and lunged at the man. However, he didn't even bother dodging the attack, instead, he raised his umbrella and slammed it down. A scythe with a bat shaped emblem immediately emerged from it as he was about to make contact with my axe.
That wasn't all, the handle to his umbrella immediately turned to a pole-arm as we made contact. However, his strength was what surprised me the most, he didn't move an inch as I swung my axe with a lot more force than I would have normally had.
"You must be wondering why I'm stronger than I look," Redfield smiled, "I'm a vampire who ate the Bat-Bat fruit: Vampire model, I get my strength by sucking blood. You better believe that I had quite the blood-bath long before I met you."
"That won't matter to me, because I won't be letting you leave here alive," I responded, I promptly turned to Stussy.
"Take the crew and get back to the ship, I might end up destroying Jaya," I instructed.
Stussy nodded before hurrying up the crew to evacuate the island.
"Ho? Will I finaly get to experience the true nature of the Storm Dragon of The Whitebeard Pirates?" Redfield teased.
I said nothing as I slowly began to cover my weapon with Advanced Armament Haki. I quietly released my Conqurer's haki. Though Redfield looked on unfazed, I could sense that his guard was immediately raised.
It was then I appeared in front of him and swung down my axe. Redfield's eyes narrowed as he lifted his pole arm and held it horizontally to block the strike. He had also covered his polearm with Armament Haki as well. The collision immediately brought this man down to his knees as another crater was formed under his knees.
"A vampire cannot hope to compare to a dragon."
He immediately used a burst of strength to offset the pressure that I had used against him to get out of the way. After that, he immediately dissapeared before reappearing nearby. I didn't let him get time to breathe.
I immediately appeared in front of him, and promptly began a barrage of my own. Swiping down vertically, horizontally, diagonally.
I had Redfield ducking, dodging and blocking all the swings that he had been using against me previously. I could tell that he had been using his Observation haki to avoid most of the attacks, so I decided to put an end to that. Redfield immediately seemed to notice, because he didn't seem to hide his shock as the image of an axe immediately appeared in front of him; and damn-near cleaved his head in two.
Redfield immediately flew through a couple of buildings and houses. I knew that wouldn't have been enough to kill the man, so I immediately started following the trail of carnage that Redfield left in his wake.
I found him lying on the ground, his head, which was split open like an egg; was quickly restitching itself to its normal state. I could literally see blood manipulate itself to repair the damaged tissue.
I was about to put an end to it by beheading the man, but a clone of him immediately appeared beside him and lunged at him. I had already forseen this coming, so I immediately gave the clone a devastating push-kick to the gut, sending it flying through some more buildings.
However, that wasn't the only clone that had appeared. Slowly, I began to see the clones of numerous different pirates, but the most concerning one appeared right in front of me. His locks wildly lashed about as he smiled cruelly at me. Those eyes.....burning with the flame of ambition that the original once had.
Every fibre of my being screamed at me to eliminate this threat, and behind the clones, I could see a small racoon like dog glaring at me furiously while tending to the fallen Redfield.
"You guys! I need your help fighting this bastard off while Boss Red heals! Can you do that?!" The racoon dog exclaimed.
The clones immediately roared in compliance, but what caught my attention the most was the man infront of me. He grinned quietly as he nodded, I just couldn't process why or how the hell this racoon dog managed to create a clone of him.
"How the hell did you manage to clone him, Rocks D. Xebec?!"
