[ Third Person POV ]
Mariejois
Whitebeard continued to fight Admiral Sengoku.
Whitebeard had been having a blast ever since he entered Mariejois. It had simply been fight after fight from the moment they had stepped foot in there. Moreover, with the organization of Boris, who seemed to have defeated the Five Elders and dissapeared within Pangea Castle. It left him with the entire city to wreak havoc in.
Whitebeard was determined to prove a point towards the World Government. They had been growing bold ever since he had established the Whitebeard Pirates, and he wanted to send a message to them so that they could leave him be with his precious family.
Admiral Sengoku sent another shockwave towards Whitebeard, but Whitebeard easily destroyed it by using his quake-quake fruit ability. The impact led to another devastating explosion that destroyed the already wrecked surroundings. Whitebeard followed up with another attack, swinging his large naginata horizontally to swipe Sengoku away from the fight.
Sengoku immediately raised his palm to repel the attack with another shockwave. It managed to work, but the result of the impact led him to lose balance momentarily. This earned a nasty push kick from Whitebeard, and as a result, he was sent flying through another building that was nearby.
It was then that his transponder snail got another call, he briefly set his naginata down before picking it up. It was Marco, and he seemed quite excited.
"What is it, Marco?"
"Pops! Oden went head to head with a Vice-admiral! He won without a sweat, we also got a World Noble!"
"That's great! Get back to the New World, and we'll figure out what to do with him after we get back, any injuries?"
"Nothing too serious, the marines were numerous when we got here. It took a bit of effort to take them all out,"
"Good, just get back to the New World then. We should be getting back pretty soon as well," Whitebeard briefly ordered before hanging up.
Seeing all the chaos that he had caused along with Boris, he couldn't help but be satisfied by it. If the World Government really wanted to go to war, then a war was what they were going to get.
It was then that Whitebeard sensed multiple attacks comming his way. He easily dodged all the attacks as he could feel explosions bloom behind him. Floating in the air, Whitebeard spotted a certain Vice-Admiral looking down on him with an aloof expression on his face.
"Oh~ Whitebeard! you're giving the Admiral quite the hard time, you know?" Vice-Admiral Borusalino commented.
"Gurarara! Maybe if you guys would stop annoying me, I won't have to do this!" Whitebeard responded.
It was then that Borusalino made a sword of light in his grasp, and then he turned into light before he reappeared right behind Whitebeard. He was about to swipe his sword of light down on Whitebeard, when he sensed a fatal danger coming his way. He could only turn back to light and reappear a little farther away from Whitebeard before it was too late.
Whitebeard smirked before raising his naginata and resting it on his shoulders. Suddenly, Sengoku burst from the building that he was sent flying into and rushed to Whitebeard. It seemed that Admiral Sengoku had enough of Whitebeard's antics. Just as Whitebeard was about to swipe down on Sengoku.
Sengoku immediately deflected the naginata and landed a palm right on Whitebeard's solar plexis. Whitebeard immediately coated the covered area in Armament Haki before Sengoku said.
"The Gentle Palm Of The Budhaa"
A bright golden light shone immediately from his palm. Followed by a dense shockwave that immediately sent Whitebeard flying back. Sengoku's attack wasn't strong enough to reciprocate the damage that Whitebeard had given to him. However, it was still damage regardless.
Borusalino, who saw Sengoku's furious attack, decided to take that oppurtunity to launch a bunch of attacks of his own. He immediately spawned a cluster of light beams and immediately sent them Whitebeard's way. Explosions could be seen blooming from where Whitebeard was last seen, but Borusalino didn't stop there.
He immediately lunged towards Whitebeard, who still couldn't be seen by the human eye, and summoned his light sword before he could swipe down. However, instead of feeling Whitebeard's flesh, he felt the hard resistance of Whitebeard's naginata.
Moreover, Whitebeard did not seemed pleased with Borusalino's little petty attack. His free hand glowed white as he arched his arm back, and he was about to slam his fist on Borusalino. However, Sengoku appeared behind him, trying to send another shockwave Whitebeard's way.
The best Whitebeard could do was push back Borusalino, and meet Sengoku's attack with an attack of his own. The end of his naginata glowed white as its end met Sengoku's palm. The air around where the two attacks met cracked, and a familiar sound of breaking glass could be heard throughout the battle field.
Suddenly, Sengoku's figure flew back instantly as the ground beneath them started to shake vehemently. Borusalino was about to attack Whitebeard's exposed back when he suddenly felt Whitebeard's gaze land on him. Borusalino could only grunt in surprise before raising his hands to block before Whitebeard raised his glowing fist and slammed it against Borusalino.
It was almost as if Whitebeard had learned the Rokushiki technique soru, but what both Borusalino and Sengoku failed to account for was the fact that this was Whitebeard's raw physicality in play while he was in his prime. After all, who else could have been revered as the first Division Commander of the Rock's Pirates?
The earth continued to tremble as a result of Whitebeard's antics. He could already sense both Borusalino and Sengoku getting up from the rubble. He quietly sighed before twirling his naginata,
'Where is Boris? We need to leave soon.'
Bondola in Red Port
The entire island was in turmoil.
The combination of the Whitebeard pirate's 0 and 4th Divisions proved to be a lethal combination that pushed back the Marines quite a bit. The 0 Division was mainly responsible for taking out significant presences within the Marine force that was sent to resist the Whitebeard Pirates. While the 4th Division was responsible for doing the rest.
Ken, Stussy, Thatch and Fisher Tiger could be seen at a certain building that was being dubbed a hospital. They had successfully managed to stabilize Thatch's condition and they were currently watching as the terrified doctor gave Thatch the appropriate remedies that would quell his injuries. That was, until Marco regrouped with them of course.
Fisher Tiger was still nervous because he was still within Marie Jois' sphere of influence. He really wouldn't feel safe until he managed to successfully escape all the way to Fishman Island. However, he couldn't help but think about his friends that were still within the clutches of those Celestial Dragon bastards. He really wanted to save them, but he didn't know whether or not his saviours would let him do so.
Stussy and Ken could easily tell Fisher Tigers discomfort, but they didn't bother to say anything and left him to ponder. As of now, they were thinking about how they should move from there on out. Boris and Whitebeard were still up there in Mariejois rampaging, but it wouldn't be long until Marine reinforcements arrive to establish order to the situation.
Matter of fact, Stussy had just received a call meant for Boris from Jozu informing her that they had just left Enies Lobby. Moreover, the operations on Latten island and the World Government ships were all accomplished. The Marines only goal or situation that they needed to fix was now solely placed on Marie jois. As a result they needed to leave before it was too late.
"Let's go back up and bring them both back," Ken proposed to the rest.
"That's a good Idea, I'll stay back here and prepare the ship for immediate evacuation then," Thatch agreed.
"I'll go with you, but I can get Boris. You go help Pops, he might be having trouble with Sengoku," Stussy added on to the proposal.
"In that case, can I free some of my friends as well? I promise they won't be a hinderance!" Fisher Tiger begged.
"Fine, but not too many. We are already at limit capacity on the ship, you know?" Stussy agreed worriedly.
Fisher Tiger nodded and thanked them heartily. They all promptly made their way to the Bondola and started their ascent back towards the Holy Land.
