Daniel looked around, he saw a lot of buildings. That was definitely a city. But it had blue walls around it, mimicking the sky, and above the city, there was a giant glass. From the glass, there were hundreds of people shouting at the city.
"What the-"
He thought before one of the buildings got blown into pieces right in front of his eyes. Blood was splattered and out of the building walked out an old man in destroyed clothes, holding a katana. A voice was heard.
"AND NUMBER 49 JUST ELEMINATED NUMBER 52,521 AND 14!"
It was the commentator who was in the middle of the giant glass, watching everything. He continued.
"Oh? New info has been given to us! Whoever kills the newcomer that just entered can go home alive!"
Daniel looked at the commentator confused before the old man rushed at Daniel with a slash that made a giant cut in the wall behind him. Everyone looked in shock as dust flew everywhere.
When the air cleared out the old man was kneeling while Daniel was holding him for the hair.
"Shouldn't you protect the younger generation?"
He said as he dropped the man down. He turned to see a horde of people running at him. They were like zombies in movies and TV series. Daniel slowly took a step towards them which made all of them stop.
As he approached them the air thickened for everyone. Evgeni watched from the glass and thought to himself "To make people fear me I had to use a special skill but he does it with his single presence. This isn't the Daniel from yesterday..."
Daniel then walked past the group of people. Some threw up, some fainted but mostly they got frozen in fear.
"I am going to save all of you."
He said and everyone heard him. He then summoned a dagger and threw it at the speed of light towards the door where he came from, breaking it. The people from above started shouting in anger but Evgeni stood up.
"All of you stop being so loud or I'll kill you..."
He said, shutting down everyone from the spectators. As the people down in the city tried to run away, Evgeni appeared over one of them, slamming him into the ground and destroying his skull.
Everyone stopped, including Daniel.
"Nobody is leaving..."
He said as everyone fell into his presence, excluding Daniel who walked up to him. They got face to face, both of their auras clashing and starting to shatter the ground underneath them.
"Daniel, enough kids' games. You saw something you weren't meant to." Evgeni said threateningly.
"Is that so? What did I see exactly? I quite don't know myself. But still...I'll walk out of here alive." Daniel responded pridefully.
Evgeni grabbed him by the face and threw him in the air. He jumped right after Daniel, slamming him into the ground but then Daniel jumped right back at him punching him.
This time Daniel was wearing diamond gloves and diamond boots. Though, Daniel was asleep. Evgeni was shocked and then he formed energy in his hand into a small sphere that he threw at him.
Daniel got hit by a massive explosion flying into the ground which gave Evgeni enough time to go behind him and punch him but Daniel's body moved on its own, kicking Evgeni in the back of the head.
He was shocked but his asleep opponent quickly used his legs to grab his neck and slam him into the ground. Evgeni grunted, he noticed that Daniel was fully out ever since he started wearing the gloves and boots.
Evgeni then summoned a chain around him which tied him tightly. He rushed at Daniel, dropkicking him but Daniel weaved and headbutted him in the stomach. However, that was it.
"Steal."
Evgeni said as the pairs of gloves and boots appeared in his hands. He then threw them to the side and blew them into tiny pieces using a blast made from spinning energy. Daniel then woke up.
"Huh?! Oh- I expected it to finish you fully." Daniel said while yawning.
Then he created the black katana. He took a stance similar to the one in Kendo while Evgeni jumped in the air. Evgeni then created fists from a dimension we can't comprehend and sent them to Daniel who could see it.
Precisely, Daniel cut the fists in half which surprised Evgeni. Before he got the talent "Higher Dimensional" from his ability he couldn't see them himself. But there he was. Standing against a kid who can see higher dimensions and even clash with him.
It was someone he never faced and he liked it. But there was some burning pain inside of his chest that he ignored. Daniel then jumped at Evgeni, starting to cut his head off but Evgeni avoided all of his strikes.
He then kicked him into the ground and summoned a massive-headed dog behind Daniel. He looked back at the dog.
"What pill did you even take at this point?"
He said as the massive creature rushed at him. The chains from its' necks shook and its saliva dripped on the ground, making holes in it. Its eyes were like looking into hell itself but yet. In a single swing, Daniel took down the beast.
"Is this how to do it, Nathaniel...Cut through all matter..." Daniel mumbled to himself.
"I am getting serious now.." Said Evgeni as he walked towards Daniel and ripped his shirt off.
Evgeni rushed Daniel with a punch which Daniel could react and cut his arm off. Evgeni then jumped, kneeing him in the face. In an instant, he healed his arm and then moved so quickly that there were mistakes in the light particles colliding.
He then kicked the katana out of his hands and summoned a massive orb that existed as something beyond the normal scope of the physical and metaphysical. Anything the orb ever touched was erased from existence.
He slammed it down, like a meteor at Daniel but then the orb disappeared. Daniel was holding his shield tightly, absorbing the mysterious sphere. He was panting, his body was at its limits and Evgeni noticed that.
Then he looked at himself, he was about to crumble to the ground but both of them manned up and got ready to fight again. Rushing at each other, they clashed at such a speed not even the light itself could comprehend.
They were ripping the light around them apart, not even shadows existed near them. As they roughly danced around the battlefield, the people around watched from the ground. They couldn't see anything else but destruction due to the high speed.
Finally, Daniel and Evgeni clashed one last time, both coughing blood. But then something happened. Their bodies began to shine. They broke their limits. Daniel had cold glare in his eyes while Evgeni was grinning.
