"Kill her, devour her avatar spirit, absorb the memories in it and then figure out a way to use the learnt knowledge to escape the palace and the capital." This was Tion's plan but whatever spot he had for women was at the moment making him hesitate to snuff the lights out of the powerless formation master before him.
Several seconds of silence went by after Tatiana's words before Tion responded with a question.
"Can you navigate your way through the magic formations set to protect the palace?" Tion asked silently watching as the eager Tatiana leaned backwards and then gave him a suspicious narrow gaze.
"When you say palace, do you mean the Mamonth Empire palace?"
"Yes"
"You mean the palace of Empress Denise, the Empress of Mamonth empire.?"
"Yes, I mean that one, the palace of my mother, so now answer my question," Tion said with a roll of his eyes.
"When you say navigate, can you give me a detailed explanation of what you mean," Tatiana asked and when she saw Tion's face begin shifting into annoyance, she hurriedly spoke some more.
"I'm sorry if I'm being I seem annoying at the moment, but I just need to be sure of what you want me to do with the magic formations, whether you want me to explain them to you or you want me to...."
"Whether you end up breaking into them, hacking them or shutting them down, I don't care, what I need from your Tatiana is to get me out of the palace and then the capital, now can you do that," Tion said deciding to lay out things as they were and know where this conversation of theirs was heading.
In that moment of explanation, some of Tion's emotions showed and the formation mistress was quick to capture the frustration, anger and annoyance within the prince.
"This boy might actually be serious about this" Tatiana thought as she quickly went silent and began thinking about a situation which her mind had already instinctively told her was impossible."
Showing off his ability to be patient Tion silently waited for over 6 minutes, giving Tatiana the time she needed to think and when the woman was ready to speak, he gave her his undivided attention.
"If your True question is if I can disable the palace's formations and make it so that you can escape from here and then also do the same to the great barriers of the city, then the answer is of course no, but if your question is if I know how you can get out this palace and eventually the capital without raising any alarms, then the answer to that one is yes."
A bit of relief came to Tion after Tatiana's words as the fear which had bubbling within him of how impossible his request was had been vanquished, but Tatiana caught onto his relaxing mind and was quick to send him back on his toes.
"You are talking about the barriers around the palace of the most powerful Empire in the world my prince, perhaps you don't know this, but it had taken a team of formation masters, and perhaps even the legendary grandmasters to build the formations here, how do you expect poor lone me to disable such powerful works."
"You are right, these formations are no joke, but still you said you have a way to get me out of the palace, how?"
Tatiana smiled as Tion asked this, leaning into her chair and giving off a smug look, believing that she now had the upper hand.
"Don't get confused about our relationship Tatiana, remember that my initial plan had been to kill you, and believe me right now when I tell you that plan can be commerce at any time, all the words you have said now have only just given me a reason to be lazy and not harm you, but I assure you, that if just the slightest bit necessary, I have no qualms killing you and pulling out your intestines with my bare hands.
"Okay, you don't have to get all threatening my great prince" Tatiana said with a small laugh, totally put off by how calmly Tion had spoken those words, not even bothering to use his aura to intimidate her.
"As you must have already figured out by now, my method involved me making some external contacts and of course, you're betraying your Empire, is that cool with you?"
"How much betrayal are we talking about, what would be the consequences and casualties of this betrayal," Tion asked with interest.
Tion's reply sent Tatiana blinking twice and looking at the prince of Mamonth in open shock like she couldn't comprehend what he had just said.
"You are willing to betray the empire, your empire," Tatiana asked.
For her it wasn't that Tion had decided to betray the Mamonth Empire that shocked her but more of the fact that he was so easily ready to do it.
For Tion to have sought her out and asked of her service, it made sense to reason that at the moment he was in some kind of conflict with either the empire or his mother, but for him to be so ready to go against them, the woman didn't know what to think.
"Biting the hand that fed you, who will have expected this of Mamonth's precious prince, your mother will be heart broken Tion, are you sure you want this," Tatataian said, the woman not forgetting Tion's warning but unable to let up the chance to gauge Tion's true feeling for the Empire.
"You might not value your life much, but I'm pretty sure Dankurt Empire would prefer you alive.
So I wonder Tatiana are you loyal to your Empire."
