The aches, pain, the feeling of having multiple broken, bones, they were still there, but at the moment they had been dulled, whether it was an adrenaline rush or the fear of death that was doing this, Tion wasn't sure and he didn't have time to care.
At the moment, Tion was watching another mud skull speeding toward him, this one seeming stronger than the first and the boy knew that if he wanted to survive, then he had to prepare his own attack as fast as possible.
Unlike the Lightning blade which he could summon with ease and immediately use in battle, creating the lightning bow took a lot out of Tion's mana reserves and mental energy and now even after creating it, he had to carefully begin pulling his hand backwards and create an arrow.
With each millisecond that ticked by, Tion felt death's hand come closer and closer to him, and then just as it was before him, he let go of the blue cackling arrow he had created, watching with satisfaction as it sailed away and smashed into the roaring mud skull that had been coming to turn him to paste.
Now with the mud skull having already come so close to Tion, being about a step away from him, the resulting shockwaves from the explosion of the clash should have blown Tion away, but then again for that to happen the two attacks would have to be on the same or close to the same level of power, something which they were not.
Though Tion's lightening arrow didn't decimate Potters's mud skull with ease, it clashed with it and pushed the explosion away from Tion, even impacting the next mud skull the Potters had sent flying towards Tion before he released another arrow to completely nullify it.
"I still got about 3 or 4 shots left" Tion muttered and despite the thick waves of smoke and debris in front of him, fixing his sight on the last place he had seen potters, he pulled on the string of his bow, once more creating another arrow.
As intimidating as Potters's mud skulls were, they were nothing when compared to Tion's lightning arrow and with Tion knowing how destructive they could be, he planned to swiftly end the battle and get his reward.
Tion released the arrow he had created, a satisfied smile appearing on his face as he heard torrential destruction that it created as it impacted the area on the other side, the shock wave from it even clearing the dust and smoke that was hanging in front of Tion and letting him begin having glimpses on Potters should be.
Pulling his hands backwards once more, Tion created another lightening arrow prepared to fire on Potters if the man had somehow still survived his last shot, but then just as he caught sight of a mud cocoon that was filled with crack and was a bit to the side of where his last arrow had impacted, from the corner of his eyes, Tion caught something which looked like a black foot sailing towards his head from the left.
Try as he might, locking himself up in the holy room and training till his body reached its limits would never be able to give Tion experience and unfortunately, his lack of experience led to him blundering at this moment.
Creating a B rank bordering A rank technique was no easy feat, it was something which required Tion's total concentration and unfortunately, while the power the technique offered was incredible, it also left Tion dull to the happenings of his surroundings.
Suddenly seeing a foot heading to smash into his head, Tion panicked and with haste cancelled the lightning technique that was currently active and moved to instead send his mana rushing to his left forearm which he rapidly raised to block the kick that was heading for his head.
Just as Tion had feared, the kick that was heading for his head had been no ordinary kick as though he guarded against it, a loud 'crack' still rang out of his forearm and sent intense pain shooting to Tion's brain while his body was sent rolling on the ground as it tried to resist the momentum of the kick.
Now the pain from the kick and numbness of his left arm should have been Tion's biggest problem at the moment but unfortunately, as he rolled, his body immediately fell into chaos and when he exhausted the power from the kick and stopped rolling he began coughing out blood.
With haste, Tion tried to stand to his feet and face the enemy whom he was sure was definitely not Potters, but just as he rose to his feet he quickly fell down to his feet and after having on a tight expression for a few seconds, he looked up to the sky ad let out a blood-chilling scream.
"Arghhhhhhh"
Though Tion couldn't see it, blood began coming out of his eyes, ears, nose and mouth as he screamed and then a second later he slammed his head on the ground as tears began flowing down his eyes.
At that moment, Tion felt like his body had turned against him, he felt his blood suddenly turn scorching hot and his mana turned to blades which began slicing at his intestines.
Tion felt like his flesh had begun consuming itself and at this moment he was close to wishing for death.
"Leah, save me" Tion struggled to cry out through all the pain that he was feeling.
These words for help had barely left Tion's lips when a figure appeared behind him and placed their hand on his back.
"Don't try to fight my mana, you're going through a backlash or in better terms mana deviation."
