I finally release her, watching as she collapses onto the bed, utterly wrecked.
Her body is flushed, her skin glowing in the dim light, her chest rising and falling in uneven breaths. Her legs remain slightly parted, twitching from the aftershocks of what I just did to her. She looks boneless, like she doesn't have the strength to move, her fingers weakly grasping at the sheets beneath her.
I kneel back, dragging my gaze over her completely ruined form, feeling smug and possessive all at once.
She looks beautiful like this.
Spent. Satisfied. Mine.
A chuckle rumbles from my chest, unable to help myself.
Leona hears it.
She glares up at me, her dark eyes sparking with something dangerous despite how weak she is.
"Think this is funny?" she grumbles, her voice hoarse, laced with exhaustion and satisfaction.
I drag my hand through my hair, exhaling sharply, my own body still aching with the need I've ignored for far too long.
