Chapter 134 - Recountings...

Eva stared at me, the 'Star Gazing Eyes' patterns returning, her gaze intense and accepting. 

"Haaa..." She sighed, her shoulders slumping as she hung her head slightly. "Of course... you are a Valxin, and no matter what, a Valxin is always stubborn, and never listens to anyone, but in the end, the Valxin is somehow right..."

Her voice carried a mix of resignation and frustration, and I couldn't deny it. Being stubborn was in our nature, a trait that ran deep in our family.

"Yeah... How about a change of topic?" I suggested, hoping to shift the conversation to something lighter. "Why don't you tell me what you've been up to?"

Eva studied me for a moment before letting out another soft sigh. I wasn't her off and she knew that. Reluctantly she started off. 

"Nothing special happened after we parted," she began, her tone dismissive. "I got involved in a few projects and tests, the usual experiments your dad does."
