I gave a casual greeting, breaking her out of her thoughts.
Tears instantly welled up in her eyes, falling freely down her cheeks.
I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a warm embrace. Eva's body trembled as I held her close, her tears soaking into my shirt. Her arms wrapped around me tightly. I don't know why but I could tell what she was feeling, she was afraid... afraid that I might just vanish.
