Ken took a deep breath, closing his eyes. Willing the ambient mana to gather around him, and briskly that mana gathered, the wind churned, and the forest rustled as mana rushed towards Ken, wrapping around him, creating a thin mana vortex that started to grow.
Eleis jumped off the boulder, feeling the repelling force of the mana. She watched in amazement as the vortex expanded rapidly.
"A little too much... You just tiered up to 2, and already you're at the mid-stage. Seriously? This is just about knowing how to do things and adaptability..." Eleis muttered under her breath, feeling a mix of bitterness and pride. It was absurd how Ken was skipping stages without even understanding them fully, but she was proud because he was her Hubby.
"Fucking broken affinity..." Eleis cursed, feeling the urge to dive into studying Ken's affinity—his obsession.
