Ken, Eleis, and Lily stood staring at a 2-story building, the only one still standing amidst the wreckage caused by the monster tide. The surrounding buildings were destroyed, reduced to rubble, but the house Siria gave remained in peak condition, looking like a medieval relic compared to the wreckage around.
The house had a sturdy stone base and a steeply pitched roof. Wooden trim framed the windows and corners, showing intricate craftsmanship. A broad porch wrapped around one side, supported by wooden columns carved with delicate patterns. Steps leading up to the porch were smooth as new, flanked by potted plants.
