"Aisa, wake up," Ken softly called as he caressed little Aisa's back. "Come on, wake up," he called out again. This time, Aisa slightly stirred, her eyes barely opening.
She looked up, meeting Ken's gaze, then closed her eyes and went back to sleep, her body clinging to Ken like a sloth. "The celebration will begin in two hours, and my engagement decision will be discussed right after," Ken softly whispered.
Instantly, Aisa's eyes snapped open. "Engagement..." she growled, but feeling Ken caress her head and back, she softened into his embrace.
"Get up, we will have to leave soon," Ken's voice gently urged, but this time with some weight. Aisa pursed her lips and snuggled up, not wanting him to go.
