Time limit: 3 days]

"..." Ken stopped in his tracks and stared at the screen, his eyes drawn to the time limit. "Only 3 days? You underestimate me..." he muttered, feeling challenged.

[Nah, you're nowhere near the stage that can even make me glance at you yet.]

The system lazily replied, disregarding Ken's words.

Ken just shrugged, not bothering to continue, after all, on the grand scale she was right, but on the scale they were playing at? She underestimated him.

Ken changed directions, heading to where the closest dungeon was. It was shown in the any and it was the only dungeon in this beginner forest.

He picked up the pace, avoiding as many monsters as possible and striking down those he couldn't avoid with little to no effort.

Suddenly a monster jumped at him from the right, but Ken already saw that coming. He stopped and let the monster pass right past him.

Ken drew his sword and gazed at the monster that attacked him, It was a dog-like monster with thin brown fur and looked like it was on steroids, its whole body was packed with muscles.

"A hound monster? Very rare but still weak," Ken shrugged as he drew his sword.

[That thing is 3 times stronger than you, it's not as fast as you but it's not slow either.]

she remarked casually and she was as lazy as ever.

"Grrrrrr..." The dog monster growled and pounced.

Ken got on one knee and held his sword up, pointing the tip right at the monster's neck.

The monster didn't even get a chance as its neck plunged straight into the sword, the tip of the sword poked out of the back of the monster's neck.

Ken was slightly pushed back by the weight but he held his ground.

"GARRHE...!!"

It screamed in pain and tried to flare its limp to attempt an escape, but it was far too late for that. Blood started to spill out from its mouth and nose and after a moment or two, it was dead.

Ken tilted his sword down and stood up, letting the monster slide off his blade. "Just because they are strong doesn't mean anything if they only know how to jump,"

Ken said, a little mocking, but it was a fact.

[Hey! That was too quick! The least you could have done was risk your life there! You didn't have to kill the poor pup like that!]

The system whined, being annoying.

'Sigh, I am stuck with an annoying Unmutable loud mouth... ' Ken already had more than enough for hearing her at this point, his tolerance, which was very good, was somehow crumbling with ease when the system talked.

Ken slashed the fangs and claws off the monsters and put them in the backpack. The monster he just killed was a very rare monster, something that would sell well.

[Such a rare monster was so brutally murdered... what a pity]

The system voiced, almost sobbing, but Ken just ignored her, too bothered to deal with her antics.

[Oh the m-]

"Can you fucking stop?" Ken cut her off, "That fake annoying voice is very grading to the nerves," he directly called her out.

[WHAT!! How did you know my voice was fake!! I hid it perfectly!]

She shouted in disbelief and fumbled over her words.

"Again...you are bored and I am annoyed,"

Ken felt exasperated, he started to walk off, going back on track.

The system remained quiet for a few seconds, but she wasn't the kind to stay quiet.

[I am fucking bored doing something...]

"I am annoyed, so shut the fuck up..."

[Thank you~]

"That wasn't a compliment"

[That so? It sounded like it was to me~]

Ken just kept his mouth shut now, 'I am not winning against this Unmutable annoyance'

He ignored her and focused on getting to his destination, started to race through the forest, Ken avoided encounters with monsters, He came across a few monsters he wasn't able to identify but he was able to avoid them so he didn't care.

As he raced through the forest, something caught his eyes and he had to come to an abrupt stop. "My luck today seemed to be having trouble..." he lamented as he gazed at the direction he was heading.

There was a monster there, a giant lizard monster. Just about 60 meters from Ken there was an over-sized Komodo dragon. Just from the tip of its tail to its snout, It measured up to 6 meters, and it was fat. Definitely weighed over 400 kilograms.

[That's an over-sized Komodo dragon~ It's called Ground Drago here.]

The system revealed cheerily, and a bit of anticipation in her voice, expecting this encounter to be entertaining.

The Ground Drago stared at Ken and Ken stared back.

[It's at least level 40, and it is fast, very fast. You can't outrun it~]

The system happily gave out information, waiting for how this situation would unfold.

"Oh yeah? Watch then,"

Ken smiled, confident, having already thought of a plan.

He took off his bag and threw it straight at the face of the Ground Drago. It hissed but sensing no danger, it caught the bag in its mouth, It tried to chew the bad but seemed to not like it, so it spat the bag out and looked at Ken who was already high on a tree.

The Ground Drago crawled at the base of the tree and raised its head up to stare at Ken.

Ken only gave it a glance before shifting his attention to the trees around,

[Hey... go down there and die like a man...]

"Shut up..."

The forest around here was dense enough for him to move from tree top to tree top, which he is what he did.

Ken ignored the system and leaped onto another tree, easily landing on a branch and steadying himself and right after went to another and then another, slowly he started to gain momentum and was comfortably jumping from one tree branch to another.

The Ground Drago hissed and followed, staying right under Ken, waiting for him to fall.

[Ground Drago are persistent, they won't give up on prey so easily. It won't be leaving you anytime. Plus it looks very hungry, so why not just jump down and be its food?]

The system sounded disappointed, she was expecting Ken to fight the Ground Drago, risk his life and such but not what he was doing now.

Ken opened his mouth to respond but gave it a second thought and kept his mouth shut, 'why do I even bother to respond to her... '

The system started to whine in the background, and Ken simply took her whining as white noise.

After a minute, the forest started to thin out, and Ken stopped at the last tree before a clearing that led to a cave.

The Ground Drago also stopped, still staying under Ken.

[Oh... I see what you are doing! You are finding a monster that can deal with the Ground Drago!]

The system realized what Ken was up to, she was surprised and curious now, this plan of his could go very well but more than that it could go horribly wrong.

"Yeah, I am searching for a monster with a similar power base to the Ground Drago," Ken revealed, which somewhat impressed the system.

[Many wouldn't even think about doing such things, guess I need to have a different outlook from you]

She thoughtfully said, she stopped being annoying for a bit and watched.

Ken observed the cave which was big enough for a human to just walk in without a problem, there was some blood around the place and, most importantly, there was a lack of monsters around here. So, there is a strong monster keeping other monsters away and that strong monster should be in the cave or hunting around, Either of them was a good case for Ken.

He took out a coin and tossed it into the cave, checking for any monsters.

Ting!

The coin landed inside the cave, and bounced inside, creating more noise.

And instantly.

"GGrRrrrrrrrrrrr," A low growl came from the cave.

Ken felt a shiver down his spine while the Ground Drago had its full attention on. Ken started to tremble.

"Oh come on... out of all the monster dens I had to find... it had to be this one,"

Ken lamented and hung his head.

[pfff...! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU MESSED UP!!!]

The system freely laughed, going back to being annoying.

"GRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!"

Another low growl came, and a monster that is known to be the most aggressive and annoying monster stepped out of the cave.

It was a wolf-like monster, with a large head, massive fangs, and claws. A creature extinct on Earth and BlueVail.

"An Andrewsarchus... out of all the monsters. Great I need to deal with another loudmouth..."

Ken dryly remarked and just leaned on the tree, too annoyed.

(Image of the Andrewsarchus in the comments and discord server.)

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HOW DID YOU EVEN MANAGE TO FIND THIS THING!!!? HAHAHAHAHA!!! THE MOST AGGRESSIVELY ANNOYING MONSTER!!! A DAMN ANDREWSARCHUS!!!]

The system laughed hysterically and mockingly, making Ken want to punch something because of how irritated he felt, but. 'Sigh... I should start working on my tolerance of her,'

"GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

The Andrewsarchus growled again, but this time it was very loud and ear-numbing

Ken just bitterly smiled, while the system kept on laughing.

Meanwhile, the Ground Drago was already backing away, and the Andrewsarchus was staring and drooling at the Ground Drago.

"Done laughing?"

Ken asked a random idea coming to his mind, which might work.

[Hahahaha... haaaaaa..... yeah I am done now, you already cooked up a plan?]

She asked, still a bit of laughter in her voice. Ken's eyebrows twitched, his desire to punch someone growing.

"How much for a grenade?"

The system got confused immediately, [Huh? you serious? You can't afford a grenade that can do something to the Ground Drago let alone the Andrewsarchus. The best grenade you can afford right now would only hurt the fur of the Andrewsarchus at most and that too will be like ]

The system pointed out in bewilderment. She doubted that Ken could do anything with a grenade to get out or do anything in this situation.

"I see, thanks for the extra info. So, how much for a stink grenade?"

A small smile came to his lips, a proper plan forming.

[You indirectly just fucking used me to measure the scale of the monsters...]

She scowled indignantly, feeling cheated but she was the one who gave the information.

[Sigh... 600 system points...] She unwillingly gave out the price, which caused Ken's smile to widen.

"Buy it,"
