The rebels looked up as well. While the rebel was distracted, the boy who had attempted to escape earlier managed to break through and go straight to the city. Everyone looked up, the small flame of hope that was about to be extinguished lit up once again. That sight of their hero alone gave them the courage to fight back against the rebels. Miyako's huge wings flapped with intense strength, shaking the air around them.
Ryu looked down and saw himself up above the sky, almost two miles above the ground. "Eek-" He yelped out of fear, sounding like a little girl. In all of his 15 years in this lifetime, this is his first time being so up above in the sky. Eiji laughed and said in a mocking tone, "Are you alright, kid?!" Ryu looked at him, his mouth was gaping open from the intense wind hitting his face, though struggling, he managed to exclaim, "Yeah, I'm fine!" Eiji laughed fondly.
After a while, when Miyako finally reached her desired altitude, she suddenly stopped. The clouds are way below them. Ryu finally had time to breathe and took in the view despite almost shitting his pants earlier. He looked around, wondering why they stopped.
Ryu looked confused and asked, "W-why did we stop?" They were all silent, when Eiji spoke, "Get ready, kid." He grinned, and Ryu just looked at him in wonder. His confusion was cut short when Miyako dived straight down like a falcon targeting its prey.
The wind was even stronger than before, Ryu embraced Miyako tightly, fearing for his life. "AHHHHHHH!" His mouth was flapping, his lungs filled to the brim with air. In contrast to Ryu's fearful expression, Eiji and Ryota looked like they were having the time of their lives.
The speed kept increasing, further terrifying Ryu in the process, out of fear, he begged Miyako, "P-please slow down, AHHHHH!" Miyako ignored his pleas and did not slow down one bit. At this point, Ryu was about to really piss his pants. Tears sprayed out of his fearful eyes.
However, the same couldn't be said for Eiji and Ryota, preparing to fight the rebels below them. Eiji was grinning, ready for battle, and Ryota kept a stern look on his face, unsheathing his sword. After a while, they finally went past through the clouds, the image around them blurring from the speed of her dive. They saw the city, smoking and fires all around it.
This scene made the four of them intense emotions. Eiji exclaimed to everyone, "Don't let those bastards live to see another day." His excited expression earlier completely disappeared, now replaced with a serious look on his face, brows furrowed and mouth closed tightly. Though he was still extremely scared from the dive, seeing how determined Eiji looked made Ryu feel a bit brave.
"I need to take this seriously too..." He thought to himself, biting his lip to focus on the objective, gradually losing his fear of heights.
Eiji exclaimed commanding, "Miyako, leave Ryu and Ryota to the docks to fight those bastards, while you find any survivors around the city!" Miyako questioned him, "But Yamamoto-san, I have to fight as well!" Eiji shook his head, "You're right, you would be extremely helpful in battle, but... We need to bring the survivors away from that fucking skeleton." Miyako nodded hesitantly, knowing that with her flight ability, she was the most suited for the task of rescue.
Eiji looked at Ryu and asked him with an expectant smile, "Kid, you can fight, right?" Though Ryu was scared, he nodded and replied, "Yes sir!" Eiji smiled in response and shifted his attention to the skeleton once again.
After a while, when Eiji felt that it was the right time to strike, he shouted at Miyako, "Miyako, throw me down!" In the open air, Miyako raised her feet to an angle and threw Eiji down with great speed. Ryu looked down, only seeing a blur about to strike down the skull of the skeleton.
After a while...
*BOOM*
A huge fucking explosion hit the skull of the skeleton. Eiji struck down on its skull, but it only managed to cut through five inches of its thick armor of a skeleton, he muttered out of frustration, though grinning as well, "This bastard... Looks like this won't end soon." He pulled out its katana, struggling a bit from his old age. "Give this old man a break already..." He muttered under his breath.
He prepared to strike the skeleton again, though this time, its giant hand was about to strike down its skull, just like swatting a fly down. He jumped off its giant skull, just barely dodging its attack. As he fell, he managed to pierce his katana straight through its armor, just above its giant eye socket. He gripped his katana tightly, dangling around. He was straight up right in front of its eye. There, a red ball glowed deep inside its socket, and an intimidating air of anger rushed out of it. The skeleton screamed. Eiji almost let go of his katana. When the sudden rush died down, he commented once again, "Jeez... This is gonna take a while..."

Miyako was zooming past through the buildings, almost getting near the docks. After a while, they finally saw the docks, seeing the thousands upon thousands of people being surrounded by soldiers. Miyako's eyes shifted to that of anger. She exclaimed to both Ryu and Ryota, "Get ready, you two!" The two of them nodded eagerly, preparing to attack. Ryota shifted his blade, while Ryu's arms were glowing blue.
When they were high enough from the ground, Miyako tossed both of them with great strength. When she saw the two of them barreling toward the rebels, she smirked slightly and left to find more survivors, numbering up to hundreds of thousands.
...
The two of them collided with the ground, creating a giant explosion leaning forward. Once the dust was settling down, one by one, rebels were either being sliced in a flash, or they were being hit by a barrage of explosive punches, creating mini shockwaves around them. The hostages were in awe of the scene, seeing the once feared rebels being beaten up by only two men was enough to relieve them from their initial fear.
Ryu and Ryota were working in tandem, beating the rebels with unspoken teamwork.
