Chapter 47 - Projects and Concerns

As Su walked toward the university, her legs trembling slightly from the aftermath of her passionate night with Dabao, her thoughts kept drifting back to him. She blushed deeply, her cheeks burning as memories of the previous night flooded her mind.

"He was like a beast," she thought to herself, unable to shake the vivid recollection. "Metahumans really do have unique physique compared to humans."

A soft smile played on her lips as she remembered how good he was, how he'd made her feel like a woman in ways she hadn't imagined.

"I can't argue with that," she murmured under her breath, still blushing. "He literally made a woman out of me."

As she replayed the moments in her mind, she recalled the sound of her own voice, moaning in a way she never thought she could. It was as if he'd unlocked something deep within her that she didn't even know existed.

Su shook her head, trying to push the thoughts away, though the blush on her face grew even deeper. "I can't believe I can be so perverted when it comes to him," she thought, embarrassed by her own desires.

She quickened her pace, hoping the fresh air would clear her mind, but even as she walked, Dabao lingered in her thoughts, his presence so powerful that she couldn't help but smile at how much he had changed her.

Su blushed, smiling as she recalled the morning confession they shared, both fully naked between the bedsheets.

"I can't believe he confessed right after our lovemaking—it was so embarrassing," she thought.

But deep down, she admitted to herself, "I can't argue with that."

After that, Su shook off the memories and focused on her day ahead. She took a deep breath, trying to push aside the lingering thoughts of Dabao as she approached the university. Despite the distraction, a small smile stayed on her face, a reminder of their intimate moment.

She muttered to herself, "Time to get back to reality."

Dabao sat in his lab, deep in thought about G Corporation's next move.

"Well, it can't be a coincidence if they're planning something obstructive," he muttered, furrowing his brow.

Then, glancing to his right, he smiled. "I think I should focus on preparing this new gear first."

After that, Dabao started assembling the components for his new gear, carefully piecing each part together with precision. As he worked, his mind briefly wandered to Diego and their upcoming duel.

"I hope Diego is ready," he thought, tightening the last screw. "This gear will come in handy when the time comes."

With his new equipment nearly complete, Dabao prepared for the inevitable confrontation with G Corporation, knowing that every detail mattered in the battle ahead.

Su Han greeted Xubao with a soft smile, though her steps were unsteady.

"Morning, Xubao. How are you doing?"

Xubao raised an eyebrow, noticing Su's difficulty in walking. "I'm fine, but what happened to you? You can barely walk straight."

Su's face flushed deep red as she tried to compose herself. "Well… your brother Dabao… let's just say he was quite the beast last night."

Xubao's jaw dropped, shocked at Su's candidness. "Seriously? You two finally confessed? You've got to tell me everything, right now!"

Su's smile grew shy as her cheeks burned brighter. She leaned in, recounting how their passionate night led to a heartfelt confession, their emotions laid bare between the sheets.

Xubao listened, still wide-eyed. "That damn little brother of mine," she huffed, half in disbelief. "How could he confess his love right after... well, pounding you into the bed?"

Su's blush deepened, and she laughed softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Well, it was... unexpected but sweet in his own way," she admitted, her voice tinged with affection.

Xubao shook her head, half-amused, half-baffled.

*"I swear, my brother has the strangest timing. But I'm happy for you both. Just make sure you can walk next time, alright?"*

Su chuckled, biting her lip with a playful glint in her eyes.

"I'll try, but no promises when it comes to him," she teased.

Xubao rolled her eyes dramatically, a grin tugging at her lips.

"Well, I guess Dabao is full of surprises, both in and out of the lab."

They shared a laugh, the lightheartedness of the moment sealing their bond even deeper.

Su leaned forward, her voice curious but playful.

"So, how's your Titan boyfriend doing?"

Xubao flushed, the pink rising to her cheeks as she responded,

"Well, acting as Goaliath at night for vigilante work and then as a regular student during the day... it's really hard for him. But he manages."

Su nodded, her gaze softening as she thought about the weight Hanyu carried.

"I understand. But there's something else I'm more concerned about."

Xubao's expression shifted, knowing exactly what Su was hinting at.

"It's about Diego, isn't it?"

Su sighed, nodding slightly.

"Yeah, he wants to challenge Dabao for a duel, but I have a feeling he might challenge Hanyu first. Especially since both Hanyu and Dabao are rivals in combat. It worries me."

Xubao bit her lip, thinking for a moment before replying.

"Diego's strong, but both Hanyu and Dabao are on another level now. It's going to be a tough fight, no matter who he faces first."

Su's eyes held concern, but also a quiet determination.

"I just hope Diego can handle it."

Xubao placed a hand on her shoulder.

"He'll be okay. He's grown a lot, thanks to both of them."

After their conversation shifted from the weight of combat and rivalry, Su leaned back in her chair, changing the subject with a lighter tone.

"Anyway, we should probably focus on today's class topic. What do you think about the upcoming presentation?" Su asked, glancing at her notes.

Xubao nodded, grateful for the change in topic.

"Oh yeah, Professor Liu's assignment on sustainable energy solutions. I was thinking we could focus on innovations in bioengineering, especially with the tech Hanyu and Jacob have been working on. It could tie into energy efficiency and environmental impact."

Su's eyes lit up. *"That's a brilliant idea! I mean, with all the advanced research around us, we could incorporate real-world examples. What about including Dabao's tech innovations too?".

Xubao smiled. "Absolutely. With both Hanyu and Dabao involved in cutting-edge projects, we have more than enough material to present something impressive."

They both began exchanging ideas, diving into their notes and sharing insights on how to best structure their presentation. The conversation, now focused on academia, was a welcome break from the emotional tension they had discussed earlier, allowing them to reconnect with their scholarly side.
