Tonight feels so empty. I'm disturbed and restless. The image of James's face has been haunting me since earlier. What is really happening? Is something going on with him? Or is this just regular foolish feelings?
"Don't dwell on those feelings. I know you still love him, but you have to stop, Rosalia. Anyway, he doesn't love you."
Layla has said the same sentence twice now. I'm beginning to feel like a foolish woman who can't be told properly.
"I know, Layla. But... Um, can you see what's happening with James? I know what he's done would never bring me any joy. But, anyway, he's under Emily's influence, right? Could he be suffering now? I just want to know, nothing more."
"Okay, fine. I want you to stop and quickly release James's image from your mind. This time, I'll help you see what's happening to him. Lie down, it will require quite a bit of energy, and you'll feel a fairly intense headache."
