*A week and a few days after resolving the fallout*
[scene Colt ,Luna ,Zenon and Lana in the living room]
Colt : "So, Luna will give birth any day so I want to check on the baby"
Zenon : "Again? Didn't you do that last time?"
Colt : "At this point… it's his position that matters"
Lana : "What does that mean?"
Colt : "I can tell how child birth will go, will it be relatively easy… hard… is the baby in danger?"
Zenon: "All that from just seeing him?"
Colt : "That's science."
[In the lab]
*Colt is looking at the ultrasound.*
Colt [breathing a sigh of relief] : "Good, his head is down… it's a perfect position."
Zenon : "So, now what?"
Colt : "According to this, child birth won't require any external assistance… it'll happen like every other one you know*looks at Lana* if it happens when I'm not around, I'll be counting on you."
And so, days passed…
We learned about another barrier against physical attacks, we learned that you can make a barrier stronger by specifying the type of magic you want protection from.
If a barrier is specifically created to protect from fire it'll be very powerful… you can be attacked and not even feel the heat.
But against any other type… might as well be paper.
What I would like to test is how my graviol and static spells compare… sucks that I can't try them.

[scene: It's the middle of night, Colt and Luna are asleep]
*Luna wakes up, starts shaking Colt*
Luna : "Colt, COLT"
Colt [wakes up, sees the pain on her face] : "What, is it time?"
Luna [breathing heavily] : "YES! DO SOMETHING!!"
Yes, I have to do…. I have to…
Calm down, you had a plan for this.. stick to the plan.
*Colt uses "float" to move Luna around.*
*He uses wind magic to control movement while he runs to Zenon's room.*
*Colt reaches Zenon's room, starts slamming the door.*
*Zenon opens the door, with one glance he understands the situation.*
Colt : "LAB, NOW!!"
*They all run towards the elevator with Luna floating ,still on her back.*
*They all go in, Colt rests Luna on the ground, the elevator descends, the door opens, "float" , they finally reach the room Colt has prepared, surrounded by Luna's screams.*
*The door closes.*
*After a while.*
*No sound can be heard.*
*Luna lies asleep from the exhaustion.*
*Lana holds the baby.*
Lana [worried] : "What's wrong with him? Is he…"
Colt [keeping his composure, since Luna is out of danger, takes a closer look] : "No, he's alive and healthy."
Zenon[confused] : "Then why is he not crying?"
Colt : "Who knows…"
Zenon : "How are you calm right now??!"
Colt : "Luna's out of danger, and the baby's fine."
Zenon : "HE'S CLEARLY NOT!! He's not even crying."
Colt : "Shh… you'll wake Luna, easy, I don't know why he isn't crying… but I'll figure it out … what I know is that he's my son and I'll take care of him."
*Colt holds the baby.*
Wow ! he has Luna's eyes and he has some of my facial features… *magic sight* his aura is similar to mine… I'm surprised they…
Colt : "Wait.. how are you two not scared?"
Lana : "what are you saying?! What kind of a grandmother would be scared of her grandson?"
Zenon [smiling] : "We really became grandparents… at that young of an age."
Colt [giving Zenon a side blank stare] : "isn't Levi above 100 years old?"
Zenon : "Yes, that's still young."
He's killing me.
*Looks at the baby.*
Either way something's amiss here… his eyes follow us… so he's conscience… but why is he not crying?
This isn't making any sense… there is no medical issue… so why?
*Looks at Lana and Zenon.*
They seem happy to have a grandchild.
And I can say that I'm happy too.
But, this isn't normal… he's a bit of an anomaly… either way.
I'll do what Mark did… and stand by my son no matter what.
For now let's just be happy.
*After a while, Luna wakes up.*
*Colt hands the baby to Zenon.*
*Goes to hug Luna.*
Colt [in a soft tone] : "How are you feeling?"
Luna [smiles and hugs back] : "I'm alright… were you too worried?"
Colt[smiles] : "Yeah, and that's a good thing."
Luna : "I'll bet… So, is the baby alright..*panics* wait, why is he not crying? How long was I asleep?*tries to stand*"
Colt[gently pushing her back] : "Easy, he's healthy as can be*Zenon gives her the child* It's alright, you didn't sleep for long."
*Luna holds the baby close to her face, the baby suddenly grabs her ear*
What the?
*Luna stays put until he decides to let go a few seconds later.*
*They all start walking to exit the lab, they ride the elevator, when they come out, they hear pounding noises.*
*The second Luna walks out of the elevator, the baby starts squirming violently.*
*Colt turns around fast and casts float before the baby falls out of Luna's arms.*
*Everyone watches the baby squirm until he suddenly stops, he lets out a small whimper.*
Colt : "Luna , hold him tightly… I'll go take care of them."
*Luna holds the baby tightly, worry and concern are clearly drawn on her face, float deactivates.*
*Colt goes , takes care of the golems and centipedes and ants in a flash, goes back.*
*The baby is suddenly very calm again.*
Colt : "What happened?"
Luna [confused] : "As soon as the pounding stopped he just…"
Ok, this is very weird, was he scared?... and even if he was… why did he calm down so fast? And why isn't he crying??!!
I have no clue what's happening here…
Colt : "Let's go home, I'm a bit tired…that's enough for one night."
For now… I'll just be happy they're both alright.
I'll talk with Luna tomorrow.
