Emma slowly opened her eyes staring at the ceiling, her surroundings were unfamiliar - this wasn't her room_ where was she?" She thought staring at the other side of the bed, her eyes grew wide seeing a strange man sleeping soundly on the other end. Emma held the sheets tightly to her chest as she sat up - noticing she was completely naked and waking up to a stranger made her head spin,' w - what did I just do?,' she touched her mouth shockingly tearing up, carefully getting out of bed - she tiptoed not making a sound, her legs felt numb - her back was aching like crazy_ her entire body in general. She picked up her dress on the floor heading out covered in sheets,' this is the sixth floor..my floor is on the fourth.' she frowned running to the elevator before anyone could see her.
Alec opened his eyes with a cold expression on his handsome face, actually he woke up a long time ago but pretend to be asleep - he wasn't familiar with the woman which bugged him. He got out of bed but paused after seeing the bloody white sheets - after taking a quick shower he puts on his clothes_ and called for someone to clean up before heading out,
' Good morning Mr Qinn, I hope you enjoyed your night here,' the receptionist smiled sweetly. Alec gave a slight nod Walking out of the hotel and getting into his car driving off.
He arrived at the Qinn resident where his servants welcomed him with utter respect
' welcome home Mr Qinn, Ms Qinn has been waiting for quite a while now.' Alec's expression went from cold to ice cold, he walked into the living room and saw a woman in her late 20s seated on the couch elegantly sipping on a cup of coffee
' Alec! I thought I would have to leave before seeing you,' she puts down the cup approaching him with a smile
' what are you doing here?.' Alec coldly said
' is this a warm welcome I get from my only son? I can't give you a surprise visit is that it?.'
' I hate surprises - and I hate you showing up to my house unannounced Lisa.' Alec loosened his tie. There relationship isn't something you would call a mother and son relationship, Alec has always been cold and brutal to his mother..Lisa is a elegant proud and beautiful woman, her short red hair matched her red eyes and pale skin with pearls surrounding her neck. Lisa gave a slight smile grabbing her coat and handbag
' I will take my leave now - take good care of yourself.' she said walking out. Alec went upstairs to his room to get a bit of rest.
' it's a shame Mr Qinn never made it to the party - I was really looking forward to meeting him.' Trixie gave a helpless sigh staring at the traffic in New York this morning
' I think he's a very selfish man, the party was for him after all - for his company_ but he dared not to show.' Emma rolls her eyes staring outside the car window
' you look distracted, don't tell me you're still thinking about that dumb ass jack.' Trixie said - for a moment she did forget about her sudden breakup with Jack_ yes it was sudden and broke her to the core, but Jack wasn't the cause for her being lost in thought. It was that guy she woke up next to this morning - she still has a clear vision of him, his short smooth dark chocolate hair_ thick dark lashes - perfectly shaped thin reddish lips, a well sculptured facial features, he was beyond perfection if you ask her. Emma was so deep in her own thoughts that she didn't even realize they had reached their apartment,' earth to Emma.' Trixie waved her hand to her face

' I have been meaning to ask, what happened to the dress you wore last night?.' Trixie wondered.. Emma almost choked on air - she looked at Trixie and said
' that's a story for another day - I'm really exhausted and would like to get some good rest.' Emma gave a meaningful smile going inside.
For the next month Emma spent her tirelessly days working day in and day out, her company is the second biggest and popular organization after Z.N Group - she really wanted to meet Mr Qinn at the party to sign a partnership contract between their two companies_ but to her disappointment he never attended the party, with a heavy sigh - Emma leaned back in her seat staring at her wrist watch, she has an early flight to Paris at exactly 1pm sharp - it's 12: 30 pm
' Ms Rose! your car is ready..we should be on our way.' her secretary informed, Emma nodded gathering her things...the bags were already packed in the car, it's been a month now since that incident at the party happened - first her break up with Jack and later waking up in bed to a total stranger, her mind was filled with fog.. everything was jumbled.
Taking her seat in the high class section on the plane, Emma rested comfortably on her trip to Paris.
~ FRANCE, PARIS ~
Alec arrived at the western Paris hotel - it's luxurious and beautiful view was outstanding beyond perfection.
' Mr Qinn! Welcome to our hotel - we are thrilled to have you staying with us here, it's an honor to have you.' the hotel manager welcomed him, Alec in his black vintage suit looking the handsomest bachelor gave a slight nod in response,' this is your card to your suite..our hotel assistant will lead the way and the staff will bring your bags up.' he shook Alec's hand once more, Alec went up to his suite to take a warm shower - going back to his room, he changed into a pair of grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt.. pouring a glass of whiskey in a glass - he stared at the black envelope lying on the glass table, he stared at it for some time before opening it - it has all Emma's info in it. He actually received this envelope a month ago when he left the hotel that morning - but never opened it ...I guess he wasn't that interested. Alec read through the info on her in silence

Emma walked into the hotel her secretary booked for her looking around fascinated by the place
' welcome to western Paris hotel, you must be Ms Emma Rose... you're most welcome Ms Rose it's a pleasure.' the manager welcomed her, Emma gave a slight smile straightening her jacket
' this way Ms Rose.' the hotel assistant led her to her suite
' can I assist you with anything Ms Rose.'
' thank you Betha but I just want to get some rest.. you should too.' Emma said..Betha nodded going out, she's been Emma's secretary ever since Emma took over the family business... Emma is only 21 years old but accomplished so much since her parents death - she doesn't show her emotions or feelings to anyone_ she doesn't like people seeing her as a weak naive little girl, she wants to show everyone she's capable and powerful in her own way... which she is. Betha left her to get some rest.
The next morning, Alec wore his usual black attire..all black - pushing his dark chocolate hair back.. his blue eyes shining brightly like the blue ocean, putting on his wrist watch and grabbing his phone. Alec stepped out of his room
The board members of both Z.N and Anderson group were seated in the conference room, shortly after - Emma and Betha walked in
' Ladies and Gents.' Emma greeted taking her seat - she wore a dark blue vintage suit and a white top inside.. white heels and her hair made into a ponytail,' Betha!' Emma softly called on her, Beha lowered her head to Emma's side as she whispered something to her,' isn't Mr Qinn here yet?.'
' I don't think so ma'am... he's probably running late due to traffic.' Betha said - Emma scoffs whispering back,' or maybe he wants to make a grand entrance like some sort of King...my time is precious too you know.' Emma puffed her cheeks
' Ms Rose... maintain your posture.' Betha gave a slight smile standing up right. Alec walked into the room taking his seat with a serious intimidating aura . Emma choked on her own saliva staring at every corner of the room apart from Alec's face
' Ms Rose, are you alright?.' Betha strokes her back handing her a glass of water, Emma drank the water coughing non stop,' we can postpone the meeting for tomorrow if you like.' she suggested
' if you postpone this meeting today I'm afraid you won't get such an opportunity to sign with my company again...do you understand Ms Anderson.' Alec raises a brow at Emma
' apologies..I also don't want this opportunity to slip out of my hands, shall we get on with it?," Emma said nodding at Betha to hand each one of them a blue file. Alec read through in silence,' Anderson Group is the second biggest company in New York after Z.N Group, Anderson Group has no and never been in debt...the only reason this meeting is taking place is to emerge and collide with Z.N Group, Mr Qinn_ I really hope you'll accept the partnership between our two companies - I assure you it will be more stronger and capable together.' Emma pressed her lips staring straight at Alec waiting for his response. Alec tilted his head resting his cheek on his knuckles staring at Emma intensely, Emma couldn't comprehend what he was thinking - his intense stare made her body heat up like she ate something spicy_ it was really uncomfortable to keep up with
' well, I guess you and I will be seeing each other more often.' Alec said signing the contract.
Emma was thrilled to get the partnership deal with the biggest famous company known worldwide,' may I have a word with you in private.'
' Huh.'
His next words caught Emma off guard, the rest of the members went out leaving the two of them - silence followed making it awkward, Alec stood up walking towards her step by step... Emma swallowed hard feeling nervous - those images from that night came rushing back, his muscular body on her..his soft skin rubbing on hers - every touch of his he imprinted on her skin.. his kisses and the moans he made her scream out, the pain that followed by pleasure was nothing she's experience before. Alec sat on the edge of the desk staring at her - more like studying her face
' I think there was a misunderstanding back in New York at the hotel.. you weren't the woman who was sent to my room.' he spoke
' I - i... I'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about.' Emma stumbled on her words, Alec gave a dry chuckle tilting his head and said
' you're very young..21 if I'm not mistaken, don't pretend you don't remember me - you ran away that morning... but I was so intrigued by you I had to get more info on you.'
' so you were stalking me?.' Emma said
' curious.' Alec corrected..he touches her chin staring into her moonlight eyes, Emma swallowed hard staring back into his - her heart pounding loudly inside her chest_ almost unbearable to hear. Alec let go of her chin standing up straight uttering no other word - he simply straightened his jacket walking away, Emma watched him leave in silence and finally breathes out when he completely disappeared from her sight - she didn't realize she was holding her breath up to now ,' what an ass hole.' Emma murmurs throwing her head back.
