"Its because of lust.....lust, Roman. A feeling so strong you can't shake it off."
A tall dark man all bloodied stood in the ere holding a crystal that pulsated with energy from within, a faint glow in the subtle darkness.
Afore him lay a large bear, it's white fur coated with thick blood and a gaping hole occupying its lower abdomen. Lifeless, clearly the loser in the fierce battle that had just ensued. Slowly it shrunk to assume the form of a lady.
"Is it the reason why she's dead?" Roman asked but was met with silence.
"What about the boy, its yours, innit?" He added looking at the toddler he held by the arm.
"Blood doesn't mean we are the same. Lest we are related, we shan't meet." The other replied giving a cold stare to the boy that it shrunk behind Roman's legs.
The boy was left for the orphan's home. He stood for hours staring blankly at the doors that stood tall in front of him uncertain about what they held for him. Rain poured, lightning flashed and thunder roared but the boy stood still at the steps clearly unfazed.
