As they fell, Ray yelled, Sky, take Katarina and let go of the sword. Sky turned back to her hawk form and grabbed Katarina by the handle with his claws. Just as Ray let go of Katarina, he grabbed Sakura by her arm and pulled her closer in his arms.
Yuki and Ray landed together with Sakura in Ray's arm. Sky slowly flew down while holding Katarina.
Ray put down Sakura and started looking around. They had fallen down in a large open area with glowing trinfite ores sticking out of the ceiling and the walls. The bluish glow of the trinfite ores lit up the whole area like a full moon's night. There was a stream of water flowing down on one side.
Ray muttered in awe, "What a beautiful place."
Sakura looked up at the hole and said, "We're at least a few hundred meters down. Megan, Sajjad, can you hear me?"
Sajjad's nervous voice came from the other side of the comms as he said, "Major, are you alright? Ray, what about you? None of you are hurt, are you?"
