Chapter 1 - Awekening

A regular guy woke up early as usual, ready to perform his morning exercise routine. The freshness of the air enveloped him as he jogged through the quiet streets of his neighborhood, enjoying the sunrise and the birdsong. It was a moment of peace and serenity, an oasis of calm amidst the daily hustle and bustle.

However, destiny had an unexpected surprise in store for him on that seemingly ordinary morning. As he made his way along a wooded path, a dark and menacing shadow emerged from among the trees, pouncing on him with a ferocity that left him stunned. Before he could react, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, followed by a shiver of terror that ran through his entire body.

"What the hell?!" exclaimed the man, struggling to keep calm as he tried to fend off his attacker.

As he fell to the ground, fighting to catch his breath and understand what had just happened, the man found himself face to face with his assailant: a wild beast with fierce eyes and sharp fangs, whose dark fur waved in the wind with sinister grace. The creature's gaze seemed to penetrate deep into his soul, leaving him breathless and speechless.

Terrified and confused, the man could barely process what had just happened. How could he have been attacked by such a creature in the middle of his routine? What kind of beast was that, and why had it attacked him? With his heart still pounding with adrenaline, the man knew that this experience would change him.

Without thinking, he tries to go home as fast as possible, while he escapes he feels a shiver run down his spine. It was as if an electric current had passed through his body, leaving him tense and alert, he heard several shots, but that did not matter to him because with that feeling of alertness, that anguish of not really knowing what was going on, prevented him from analyzing the situation because of how excited he is. He could not perceive what was happening to him, he did not feel what that creature caused him, wondering what was happening?

Amidst his growing panic, the man reaches his house, he is so panicked that he is unable to move normally, he is unable to open the door of his home, he is unable to insert the key, for him every second that passed seemed like an eternity, each click of the lock echoed like an ominous echo in his mind.

Finally, he managed to open the door and enter the house. Without stopping to breathe, with superhuman effort, stumbling as he tried to reach the second floor, struggling to maintain his balance on each step. He thinks, I need to reach that first aid kit, when he finally reaches the second floor, he rushes to the bathroom as quickly as possible, but he knew he needed to act quickly to treat his wounds

Once inside the bathroom, he tries to hold onto the sink, knocks over a glass, gets up with great effort, hurries to search in the first aid kit, spits out some blood, but manages to grab what he believes is indispensable: cotton, alcohol, and a bandage. While his mind struggles to stay focused on the task at hand, he feels his pulse pounding in his temples, hears the frantic beating of his heart. With clumsy but determined movements, he begins to clean and bandage the wounds covering his body. Blood stains his hands, his clothes, the water turns red as he washes the wounds. Each step is a suffering and screams of pain.

Once he had finished treating his wounds as best he could, he leaned against the sink, trembling with exhaustion and shock. "What's happening?" he murmured to himself, feeling a wave of overwhelming emotions enveloping him.

"I need help!" he shouted, his voice echoing in the small bathroom.

He saw in the mirror and approached and his irises were huge due to a type of trauma, but he did not notice. He watched as his bandage was not done well since he inherently knows what he was doing. He saw his blood sticking out from his chest to his abdomen, but due to all that stress, he felt totally dizzy, an unbearable headache and had numb lower limbs. And he said, What happened? So without any plan, he fainted and remained until the next morning in the bathroom, on the carpet in front of the mirror, in a whirlwind of pain and confusion.

Before the man fainted, outside his house, a 17-year-old boy, thin and urban-style, walked down the street. He wore a ring as an accessory, which glowed slightly in the morning sunlight. From the street, the boy noticed something unusual in the window of that man: a dark and threatening figure, a beast from another world. The boy's heart began to beat hard, full of fear and intrigue for what he was seeing. Without wasting a second, he decided to get away from there as quickly as possible, driven by the panic that the disturbing sight instilled in him.

He remembered the stories they used to tell him when he was a child to help him fall asleep, about wild beasts that lurked in the darkness of the night, with sharp claws and eyes shining like burning embers. The image of the creature in the window evoked those same deep fears he used to experience when he heard those horror stories. With his heart pounding and his breath catching, the boy continued to run through the streets, moving away from that abominable presence.

As he fled, he heard a loud noise coming from the house, followed by a guttural howl that chilled his blood. A sense of dread ran through his body when he realized that the creature had come out of the house and was wreaking havoc in its path. Without stopping to look back, the boy increased his speed, feeling fear like a weight in his chest, urging him to escape as far away as possible from that terrifying scene.

When the man finally woke up, his mind was filled with confusion. He wondered what had happened to him, unable to understand the events of the previous night. He experienced a kind of amnesia, remembering only fragments of situations he believed to be imagined or impossible to have occurred. Some memories from the day before mingled in his confused mind.

After remembering those confusing moments, the man woke up with a throbbing headache and overwhelming hangover. He brought his hands to his head as he murmured about the unbearable headache he felt, as if he had spent the whole night without sleeping. He questioned how he ended up in the bathroom instead of in his room, and he got up slowly to examine himself in the mirror.

Seeing himself reflected, he was surprised by his disheveled appearance. He noticed the dark circles under his eyes and decided to freshen up by washing his face with water. As he freshened up, he realized he had no wounds on his body, despite the turbulent events he remembered experiencing the day before. This puzzled him, How is this possible? I'm sure everything that happened yesterday really happened, but apparently it wasn't the case, making him question whether everything that happened was real or just a dream.

After setting aside his doubts, thinking it over in his mind, then Nothing really happened? he decided to take a shower to relax a little. While he was in the bathtub, he noticed a rubber duck, a reminder of his childhood which made him smile slightly. After dressing in a shirt, a hoodie, and Converse shoes, he grabbed his backpack and took an apple from the kitchen to eat on the way.

Opening the door of his house, he was greeted by a glare of sunlight that made him squint. After shielding himself from the glare with one hand, he finally saw his friends Sajual and Yinda, ready to accompany him, Yinda says Are you okay, Yukita?.

Yukita: How are you guys today?

Sajual: Hi, Yukita. Fine, thank you. But, are you okay? You seem a bit distracted.

Yukita: Yes, just a little tired. I didn't sleep well last night.

Yinda: Are you sure? You seem more restless than usual.

Yukita: Yes, it's just stress from exams. Don't worry, I'm fine.

Sajual: Well, if you need to talk about something, we're here for you, okay?

Yukita: Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. I just need some time for myself.

Yinda: Okay, but if anything changes, don't hesitate to tell us.

Yukita: Of course, I will. Thanks, really.

(Sajual and Yinda exchange worried looks, but decide to leave it for now.)
