Chapter 13 - Time to Claim Her

Immediately the nun asked if she was ready for what was to come, it was as if the reality of her fate had dawned on her. She dragged the red robe from one of the people who usually helped the nun to place girls on stage and take them out, and used it to cover her naked body while she still wept.

"There's no time for such silliness! The so-called innocence you are trying to protect will be taken away from you this night. So you better come to terms with that!" the nun snatched the robe from her, leaving her totally naked.

"You, help get her things ready. There's no telling how long she would be allowed to stay with Mr. Mongold. So, pack a sizable amount of clothes for her. Only appealing ones!" Nun Margaret ordered her helps while she escorted Meredith to the Special room where other girls had sat and watched everything unfold.

"Sit over there and wait for me to finish handling the transactions with Mr. Mongold and then you will be taken to his home"

With that last word, the nun walked off stylishly toward her office area where the girls were never allowed to venture. Meredith still wept despite knowing this could be her chance for freedom. What if it didn't work out?

Sorrowful, she sat on her seat trying her best to avoid the curious stares from the girls who whispered all around her.

"Hey, you can handle the rest of the night?" Valerie asked

And just then she suddenly remembered she was naked and that meant the pill was gone. Her fear-filled eyes were pinned on Valerie but her lips couldn't open to say the words or else someone would know of her plans.

"I need another one. The other pill is gone" she whispered urgently into Valerie's ear. Casting short glances around, Valerie reached into her top and retrieved a pill which she gave Meredith.

"What are you doing?"

Victoria asked Meredith when she saw the transaction going on between the two girls.

"Nothing"

"If I can see that you are clearly up to something, trust me they know too!" Victoria chided Meredith

"Shh, if there is anyone trying to get her in trouble it's you. Keep your eyes and mouth away from whatever we are doing. Don't draw attention to us" Valerie snapped

"I hope you don't get into trouble or learn how horrifying this place can be when you mess up" Victoria warned a confused Meredith.

"Do not listen to her. This may be your only chance" Valerie countered

And those words were enough to fuel Meredith's will to get out of the Siren Home alone and that very night.

The booming voice of the nun came from the device in the room and asked for her to meet with her immediately and she knew it was time. After she was dressed in a white skimpy gown and her makeup retouched, she was escorted to the man's car. Reluctantly she sat in the back seat with the man while the car drove off. Meredith kept rubbing her hands nervously as the older man's eyes roamed all over her youthful body. There was a wide grin on his face when he lifted her chin for her to look at him.

"So pure! Just how I like it"

Meredith shrunk away from his disgusting touch, going contrary to what Valerie had told her to do.

"I see you like to play hard to get. That means this night will be fun and one of the best I have had in a long time" he laughed to himself

Meredith felt the drug she had hidden in her bra just as she had seen Valerie do and she knew it was her only hope out of such a life. As they left the Siren Home she couldn't even see anywhere that was familiar to her. It was as if it was situated in nowhere because all she saw were tall trees and shrubs along their way. Panic filled her as she wondered if she would be able to find her way home after her escape since the environment was so unfamiliar.

When I get to that bridge, I will cross it. She encouraged herself and tried not to cry anymore. But the man's chubby hands were already on her thighs and she felt so disgusted that she wanted to bolt out of the moving car. But that would mean her death and so she must be patient and remember all Valerie had taught her about seducing a man.

He left his cousin behind in the club and hurriedly pursued the opulent car that had spirited Meredith away. Keeping a watchful eye as they ushered the reluctant young girl into the vehicle, Marc followed closely, determined not to lose sight of them, all the while hoping the man in the car wouldn't catch on to his tailing… The man who was taking his prized possession home, something Marc couldn't accept. She was going to be his first! His! He muttered under his breath. He must have this one thing he had his eyes set on.

Throughout his life, he'd been treated as an outsider due to his lack of privilege compared to others. After amassing some wealth in his youth, he had vowed to always obtain what he desired. But this angelic figure was seemingly out of his reach, and he couldn't allow that to stand. He had to have her first. He wondered why Cross hadn't lent him the money, considering he had more than enough. If only his cousin had acted properly for once, that girl would be heading home with him right now.

He watched as the car halted in front of an estate gate before the gate rolled open. Cracking his brain, he thought of what to lie to tell the estate gateman to allow him to go in. What am I going to do when I'm there?" he questioned himself. He had no concrete plan, but one thing was certain: he was determined to be Meredith's first, no matter what. Just then, a recollection hit him – he had a friend who lived in that very estate. With the friend's confirmation that he could enter, the gate swung open, and Marc drove in, with a single objective in mind – to claim Meredith, by any means necessary.Â
