Ezra sat in his study, his feet tapping anxiously under his table, his mind thinking about what had just happened between him and Nicholas.
After he had said that to Nicholas, Nicholas had just called him crazy and stupid before he angrily stormed out of his office.
He was trying to understand how their battering got to that level but he couldn't discover at which point they had gotten there.
Was he annoyed? Yes! But, there was something else that made him feel like he wasn't entirely annoyed by it.
Thinking about it, it was actually fun to tease Nicholas like that, if he hadn't said that, Nicholas would have still been standing in front of him, trying to cause trouble for him.
Maybe, just maybe, he would stick to that method each time Nicholas tried to be stubborn with him.
He sighed and fixed his glasses, forcing his brain to focus on something important and not on some stuck-up spoilt man.
