"Men, stand down."
"But…"
"Stand behind me. I know how to protect myself."
"...yes, your majesty."
Leon could tell they couldn't quite believe that Leon could protect himself as they have always seen him relax and be lazy. Plus, his slender and beautiful appearance didn't do him justice. Leon stretched in place and then stood at the front as the traveling group got closer to him.
"Your…majesty. Do you know their language? Do you need our translator?"
"No need. I know how to communicate with them."
"Alright."
The soldier stepped back in line behind Leon and they all waited for the group to be closer. The group had a total of 9 people. The youngest seemed to be in his teens and there were two females. The leader of the group stepped forward and asked a question.
"..."
Leon had a gaze of a dead fish and the soldiers were confused as they realized this civilization had no language created yet! But Leon had just confirmed that he was able to communicate with them. The men just waited for Leon to respond but it was silent for a whole minute.
'Fuck! I was living on this planet for so long and still didn't realize they haven't set up any form of communication and language…'
'Hahahahaha! They knew you were an alien so they always chased you away at first sight. They couldn't even understand your words when you approached them from the beginning. Hahahaha.'
The system and Leon bickered for that split minute before Leon focused back on the leader. Leon pulled out a stone slab from somewhere and wrote shapes on the stone. A stick person with a wooden stick with a stone tip tied to the top. The caveman seemed to be amazed and he accepted the stone that Leon gave to him to carve on the stone slab. It took Leon half an hour to understand the group's purpose of approaching him.
It took the whole morning and afternoon for the two groups to reach an agreement. Leon had noticed that this person was more sharp and intelligent than the rest of his group. He was the one with the idea of approaching Leon to talk instead of a full front battle. Leon appreciated this man and taught them how to create similar wooden houses as his. Their wooden home was a lot smaller than Leon's tiny house but it was a success for the group. The leader was called Nwu. Leon's men relaxed a tiny bit and let two soldiers stay and protect Leon while the rest left to patrol outside around the fence of Leon's territory. Leon had a fence around his space but a large area. It would take an hour and a half to fully walk around the outside of the fence. Nwu's group had actually walked along the fence until they saw an opening and walked around until they saw Leon and his men.
Normal people of this planet would tend to avoid the strange fence as they have no knowledge of fences in their memory. But Nwu communicated with Leon that his instincts told him that there was something special here. A few days later, Nwu had led another group to the center of the fence where Leon's house was. Nwu kept gathering people as they learned stuff from Leon. He had taught them which plants to use as seasoning for food and taught them basic food dishes. There were no pots or pans yet so Leon carved a stone wok and used fat from animals to cook. The cave people upgraded to villagers within those two months Leon stayed there. With Lieutenant Edward's reminder, Leon had to leave the next morning. The whole village knew about it and expressed their sorrow. They all kneeled on the ground and bowed to the ground towards him.
'They're worshiping you as a god…'
'Aren't I a God? The one and only, The Creator.'
'Tch, egotistical host.'
'Hmph, I'm a great and benevolent god.'
The system rolled its eyes and Leon continued to pack. Meaning, he put them in his storage space. His hand paused on the two mini wooden carvings of himself and his husband.
"Maybe, just maybe, he would see this and search for me."
Leon decided to leave the carving of himself on the side table beside the bed. The carving was of him opening his arms, jumping into another's embrace. The carving of Kayden was of him with open arms, waiting for Leon to come into his embrace. Leon and his men silently walked to the spaceship while the people were asleep. The sun was about to rise and Leon watched from the ship as they slowly flew up. With his excellent eyesight, he saw a bunch of people traveling towards his village. At the front was a strong and tall handsome man. The man seemed to notice a gaze and turned towards Leon's direction in the sky. They had made eye contact from that long distance.
"Ah…"
Leon's guessed that the man is his husband but wasn't sure unless they met and Leon could check in person. Leon was about to tell them to descend but it was too late as they activated the space jump which could not be stopped once it was activated. Leon could only tell them to send him the coordinates of the planet. Leon had received a communication band to wear on his wrist when the men arrived to meet him at the beginning.
