Lemon felt his chrysanthemum tighten and he turned to run into his home but was caught by Kairus before he could escape. Kairus put Lemon over his shoulder and held the box of food on the other hand, walking back into his home. Lemon struggled but gave up after a minute since he knew he could not get away.
"Didn't you read my message under the title information?"
"Huh?"
Lemon was surprised that the other knew but quickly concluded that the other is probably the god of data in this world. Any information was probably stored in his memory board and he could probably have access to everything in this world connected to WiFi.
'You tried to run. Led to your own demise. Tch'
'Hey! I didn't know Kairus was my husband. And he's not even human! He's a bunch of codes and data! I was curious, okay!'
'Well, his database is probably filled with 1s and is in great need of 0s to balance things out right now. Bye.'
'System you jerk! Ahhhhh!'
Kairus could have gone months without rest with his huge battery life but Lemon was a regular human so he reluctantly paused their activity after 6hrs. Lemon was happy to be let go early and tonight, he entered the game. What welcomed him was Kairus's game character and he continued where he left off from the real world. Lemon couldn't even pass out from exhaustion because of his stats bonus. He was also played with by Kairus as he changed the sensitivity of the game character, added curses and used elements. Making Lemon lose his mind to the pleasure he had caused Lemon. Lemon grew addicted to the feeling and became a seductive demon. It was like their souls were blending and swirling into one mass of energy and he felt extreme pleasure from it. He couldn't get enough of it and kept begging for more. This caused Kairus's possessive obsessive love for Lemon to grow deeper. He wanted more, he wanted to be in his warmth for eternity. To never leave his side.
Lemon opened his eyes and was surprised to find himself in the Realms of World Orbs. He was confused.
'Well…he fucked you to death.'
'…'
'This is why you shouldn't indulge him too much. The world was semi-completed. Now you have to re-enter the world and continue to gather the world's energy to 100%.'
'…'
Leon was speechless, he had no words to express the swirls of emotions in his soul. The system rolled his eyes and started the soul transfer back. Lemon blinked and he was back. He looked around and it was strange.
'System, where is this?'
'The game world. After you died, Kairus went mad and destroyed the game. But he couldn't bear to destroy the code for your game character so he left it alone after causing chaos. The players were forcefully logged out, the game company sent out an explanation that the game was flawed so they were working hard to create a new and better game.'
'…then aren't I stuck here?'
'I would say send him a signal but because this game reminded him of his sin, he blocked all data from this game from reaching him. So…'
'Did he block the internet access?'
'No. What are you going to do?'
'Learn code and hack the data world. Become a sexy virus like his deep love for me.'
'Your purpose would have been so great without the last part…'
Lemon learned about coding and learned to become a god of data like his lover. He didn't check the time passing and finally, he was an expert of creating, destroying, and manipulating data. Lemon searched through the camera connected to the internet. Still not finding his husband in the real world, he searched for his own information. What did Kairus do to his body after death? Lemon searched and searched until he found a security clip of Kairus carrying his body into a research lab. There were no cameras inside the laboratory but he continued to watch. Years passed in the video, Kairus had not left the laboratory that whole time. Then Lemon heard glass breaking and other chaotic noises.
"Why isn't he waking up from his coma? His brain is active! His organs are all healthy! What's wrong?!"
Lemon felt sad and anguished at his lover's suffering. He continued watching the recording.
"Baby, you're awake! Can't you recognize me?"
Then there was silence. Then Lemon saw Kairus step out of the laboratory and gently closed the doors. His shoulders slumped and he rubbed his frown.
"There's no awareness…is that what humans call the soul? How do I find a spiritual soul that's invisible and known as a belief and not a scientific fact?!"
Kairus growled under his breath, extremely frustrated.
