Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:FUCK IT WE BALL (FULL REWRITE)

Chapter 1: FUCK IT, WE BALL

It's been about two hours since I woke up in a filthy alley, read the note from "it?," and learned a few things.

First, I was totally screwed over and got the short end of the stick by ending up in this wormhole. Second, I had a system that let me acquire the powers of the various Kamen Riders. Third, a second crumpled-up note that decked me in the face told me not to mess up—oh, and I had the Blank Perk, so no instant death from the evil cooking club.

But, there was one big issue—I had no context, no instructions. It was just me, the system, and a whole lot of uncertainty. But, FUCK IT, WE BALL.

Oh, and I also got a backpack with a couple of things inside: a small notebook, a briefcase with the Smart Brain logo, and a couple thousand dollars in USD.

After assessing the situation and getting out of the alley, I started walking, looking for a fast food joint. While walking, I brought up the system by my side. It had a bare-bones look, showing the three main stats, my name, age, money, missions, and an inventory with only 30 slots.

______________________________________________

Name: Jin 'Kazuma' Mori

Age: 16

Physic: 15

Mental: 10

Energy: 10

Inventor: Empty

Missions: None

Money: 5000 USD

______________________________________________

After messing around with the system and finding a clear, empty alley, I quickly stashed my bag inside it, started walking again, and thought over what the stats were for when another system screen popped up, explaining their purpose.

______________________________________________

Physic: This stat represents your overall physical capability, including strength, endurance, and durability. A higher Physic stat means better performance in activities requiring brute force, stamina, and resilience—such as lifting heavy objects, fighting, or enduring physical hardships. It can also influence health and recovery speed.

Mental: This stat reflects cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, memory, and mental fortitude. A higher Mental stat improves perception, learning speed, and resistance to psychological stress or manipulation. It can affect abilities like strategy, persuasion, and resisting fear or mind control.

Energy: Energy determines how much you can do before needing rest, affecting both physical and mental activities. A high Energy stat allows you to sustain effort over long periods, perform multiple actions in quick succession, and recover faster from exhaustion. It acts as a resource pool that depletes with strenuous skills of riders and replenishes over time or with rest.

After closing the screens mentally, I finally found a place to eat. I ended up at a small café, ordered a small iced coffee with some breakfast sandwiches, and sat in a booth, going over everything again.

After finishing my food and drink, I decided the best course of action was to head to the nearest public library and gather some information—since most of my knowledge was based on various fanfictions.

Before leaving, I asked one of the waitresses for directions and then started my walk a few blocks down to the library. Taking an alleyway as a shortcut, I turned right and immediately almost got stabbed. Instinct kicked in—I dodged the sloppy thrust, grappled the guy, disarmed him, and proceeded to chokehold him while he struggled to break free.

"Holy shit, dude, what the fuck?"

As he slowly passed out, I quickly picked up his pocket knife and slid it into my pocket, before finishing my walk through the alleyway and arriving just a street away from the library. I'm glad I had real-life experience in jiu-jitsu, or I would've been totally screwed by that mugger.

I walked into the library, asked one of the librarians where the computers were, then calmed down and started looking up things like the date, the Protectorate, Wards, heroes and villains of the bay, classifications, and various laws.

After a couple of hours of reading and scrolling through PHO for extra info, I came to a conclusion. I was a couple of months before Taylor's trigger event—and, okay, another paper ball hit me in the face again.

Unfolding the note and reading it in my head, I saw the following:

______________________________________________

i "forgot" to tell you since- XD nah i just hate you, but the system will be downloading information and the abilities of other Riders for your Kamen Rider tech into your head as if you were actually smart. So, if you somehow break your only fucking lifeline, you'll be able to fix it. Have fun with the migraine, and don't eat ass, dipshit.

PS. same goes for all other Kamen Rider stuff you will get from doing whatever.

______________________________________________

My only thought was: What the fuck did I do to this guy for him to be such a dick—

"AH, MOTHERFUCKER! OF ALL THE MIGRAINES—WHY THE FUCK DOES IT HURT SO MUCH?!"

After calming down (and getting kicked out of the library for being a disturbance), I eventually found a bench, sat down, and waited for the pain in my head to subside.

At this point, I had three options:

1. Go to the PRT, sign up, and become a Ward. I had some reservations, but it was better than nothing.

2. Become a mercenary for hire and slowly set things up on my own terms.

3. Become a villain because edgy, darkness, and the world's fucked XD.

Let's also be real here—I'm never picking the third option unless I'm severely depressed or using another identity to just fuck around.

"So, let's coin flip this shit."

Heads for hero, tails for merc. The moment I thought that, two system prompts appeared in front of me—one with a coin ready to flip and another with a mission.

______________________________________________

Mission: Decide Your PathDescription: The first step of every path people walk is a choice—the decision to take that step, no matter how uncertain or difficult the journey ahead may be. So, what's your choice? Hero or Villain?

PS. Won't be completed till you join the hero's or do something villainous.Reward: ???.

______________________________________________

(Note: I did actually do a coin flip.)

Pressing the prompt, I watched the coin flip in the air, my eyes locked onto it like my life depended on the outcome. After a moment of intense waiting, it finally landed—heads.

FUCK YEAH, BABY! I'M ABOUT TO RIDER KICK A BUNCH OF NAZIS IN THE FUCKING HEAD! WOOOOOOOOO!

Taking a second to calm down, I glanced around, making sure I hadn't caused another scene. The early risers were minding their own business, thankfully. With my path chosen by the COIN OF FATE, I set out on my adventure to find the PRT.

And almost immediately, I ran into three problems:

1. I had no idea where the PRT building actually was.

2. I didn't even know where I was in the city.

3. I didn't have a mask.

Now, you might be thinking, Imaginary audience inside my head, why do you need a mask? You don't even have an identity here.

Well, Imaginary Audience, I'm anti-social as fuck and hate talking to people unless I start the conversation first. Also, I'd like to go about my day like a normal person instead of dealing with people's bullshit in my civvies.

So, I hit up a fast food joint called Bob's Burgers—sadly, no actual Bob there (I asked). While grabbing a meal, I also got directions to the PRT building. After that, my next stop was finding a shop to buy three essentials: a phone charger, a domino mask, and a hoodie to keep my identity under wraps.

After wandering for a while, I found a Walmart, went in, and got a black hoodie, a domino mask, a phone charger, and a bunch of snacks. After self-checking out, I went to the nearest deserted building and checked around a couple of times. After making sure I was in the clear, I put the snacks inside my inventory and took out the Smart Brain briefcase.

Putting on the hoodie and domino mask and making sure it was properly on, I unlocked the briefcase to see what gear I'm working with. Inside, it had the Faiz Driver, the Faiz Phone, and the Faiz Pointer.

Taking the items out of the briefcase, I put on the belt and attached the Faiz Pointer to the hip of the belt, then flipped open the Faiz Phone.

*Flick*

Pressing the Enter Button

"Standing by"

Closing the phone in my hand, I slowly raise it above my head.

"HENSHIN!"

*CHIC* *CHIC*

As I put my hands out to my sides and posed, lines of red neon light traced across my body. In an instant, a flash of red light built the armor piece by piece. My vision sharpened as the helmet locked into place, the red compound eyes flaring to life.

I clenched my fists.Damn, this is badass. All I need to do now is squat, pull off the hand flick, and then kick someone so hard they fucking explode. Actually, on that note, I should check if I can avoid being lethal full-time so I don't accidentally kick a child into literal obliteration.

With my thoughts drifting in that direction, my brain supplied me with information on the science behind the Faiz Driver and helped me gain some skills to avoid killing myself when repairing the equipment.

I also discovered some features I don't remember from the show, but I can't use them without the rest of the gear. On the plus side, I found out I can turn off the lethality whenever I want by pressing a small switch on the belt.

Closing the briefcase and putting it away in my inventory, I walked out of the abandoned building and started walking down the sidewalk toward the PRT building.

During my walk, I noticed people starting to take notice of me—some backing away, others pulling out their phones to snap pictures and record videos. Meanwhile, I just kept humming Seven Nation Army, occasionally giving a nod here and there.

Wow, this is taking longer than I thought. A bike would be great right about now.

A bit further into my walk, I got lost and had to stop and ask for directions. After a bit of wandering, I finally found my way back on the right path. At this point, I had given up on just humming and was now straight-up singing When Will I See You Again out loud.

"Shooting stars never fly for me, my heart's on Mars, kinda hard to see.""But you know, you know I'll see you again. You know, you know I'll see you again.""Feel it in the sunrise. Even in the nighttime.""It's hard to adjust now, 'cause you ain't around, yeah."

With that, I kept moving, letting the song carry me forward.

As I kept walking, still lost in the rhythm of the song, I finally caught sight of the PRT building in the distance. More people had started looking my way, some whispering, others pulling out their phones. Not that I cared—I just kept casually strolling up to the entrance like it was normal for me to be there.

I was immediately stopped by a duo of PRT agents.

"Hold it right there!" One of them, a guy in standard-issue PRT armor, raised a hand to block my path. His partner, a woman with a stern expression, had already reached for what looked like a sidearm.

"Yo," I greeted lazily, raising my hands. "I come in peace."

I nodded toward the building. "Just here to sign up, y'know? The whole gig where kids with powers get to play hero."

After I finished speaking, the two PRT agents continued to stare at me while I casually began stretching. Eventually, the man started talking into his earpiece, probably updating their superiors.

After a while of waiting, the woman finally spoke up. "So, what's your cape name?"

"Kamen Rider Omni. I prefer just Omni."

"Kamen Rider Omni?" she repeated, her tone skeptical. "That's a... unique name."

The woman glanced at her partner, who was still holding his position and talking to their superiors about me. After a moment, they exchanged another look.

"Alright, Omni," the male agent said, his voice now more neutral. "Assault will be here shortly to take over and speak with you."

I nodded, not really surprised at this point. I started making small talk with the agents while we waited for Assault to arrive. When he finally did, he guided me through the building, keeping up a casual conversation and joking around.

"Good to meet you, Kamen Rider Omni," Assault said, flashing a quick grin as he led the way. "So, you're here to join the Wards, huh? That's great. How're you feeling about it?"

I shrugged, following him down the hall. "I mean, it's a lot to take in, but I'd rather do this than go solo. Might as well join a team and get support if I'm gonna be out here."

He nodded in understanding, looking back over his shoulder. "Smart move. The city's full of capes, and not all of 'em are the friendly type. Better to be with people who can back you up."

As we walked, Assault pointed out some of the areas, casually mentioning a few of the wards and giving me a rundown of the building. He seemed like he was trying to make me feel comfortable while giving me a pitch to join.

"We've got training facilities, medical support, everything you need," he said with a grin. Eventually, we found our destination: a small meeting room with two people inside—one a normal-looking woman with some papers and a man in power armor.

Assault stepped inside first and gave a quick nod to the pair. "Alright, here we are," he said, motioning toward me. "This is Kamen Rider Omni, a new recruit, looking to join the Wards."

The woman looked up from her papers and offered me a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you, Kamen Rider Omni," she said, standing up. "I'm Natalia, and this is Armsmaster." She gestured toward the armored figure beside her, who gave a slight nod but said nothing.

"Hello," I greeted, my eyes drawn to the impressive power armor. The man stood still, his presence commanding, the gleaming metal reflecting the room's overhead lights.

Natalia smiled at me again, then returned to her seat at the table. "We'll get you registered, go through the usual questions, and once everything checks out, we'll begin the induction process," she said.
